We enjoyed our stay at Cathedral Mountain Lodge. Very nicely decorated cabins, and very quiet. The view from the cabins maybe isn't as great as one would expect from the pictures on the internet (cabins pretty close to each other) but that doesn't matter. You can enjoy a drink in the evening on your own covered deck and take in... More

Cathedral Mountain Lodge provides cabins to each guest. Our king suite was beautiful. Ensuite bathroom was included and we had our own covered patio with chairs to enjoy the outdoors. The complimentary breakfast is excellent, and they do provide complimentary tea, coffee, and cookies in the afternoon, which we were to busy to enjoy. Wifi was a little spotty.

Our wedding was everything we hoped it would be, exchanging our vows in the Rockies was a dream come true. We stayed for 3 nights at Cathedral Mountain Lodge, we had a great time. The staff are attentive & pleasant. The breakfast is delicious, we really enjoyed the afternoon tea & cookies. The fire-pit by the river was the perfect... More

We stayed for four nights in Cathedral Mountain Lodge and had a great time. It is well situated and the staff are attentive & pleasant. The breakfast is outstanding and the complimentary cookies and beverages in the afternoon are a nice touch. The fire-pit by the river is also a great idea (although perhaps a second one and some more... More

Stayed at Cathedral for 3 nights .. mistake was that we didnt stay long enough. It was absolutely wonderful. Our cabin was beautiful, clean, spacious, quiet .. everything you could need, including all the amenities ie tea, coffee, firewood, milk, free parking etc. If we needed anything extra, we just had to mention it. It felt like we really had... More

I was so excited to stay at this location from the photos on the internet. I was shocked when we pulled in and realized the actual layout of the property. The cottages are not laid out as the photos would suggest, they are divided into two units, and are crammed together. There are NO views from the cabins unless you... More

Beautiful mountain cabins. if you want an authentic yet pampered stay in a mountain cabin this is the place. The cabin felt brand new and had a fire place and offered smores for roasting. Free buffet breakfast was excellent and fire pits along the river were quaint. I read some complaints about train noise but to me that made it... More

This is a lovely property that reflects mountain style cabins. We stayed in a single bedroom "premier" cabin that was clean, comfortable and quiet. It had its own wood burning fireplace which was made up for us each day and ready for us to light in the evening - which we did and we thoroughly enjoyed. The property is close... More

We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful spot. Walking down to the Kicking Horse River from our cabin was a nice plus both morning and evening. The dining room serves a nice (but simple) breakfast buffet and amazing dinner. We enjoyed all of our entrees and desserts. Service was very good, though the meal is presented in slower manner... If you like a genuine experience in a log cabin without a tv, in a spectacular part if this world. You need look no further. Just great! Don't mind the price because you only live once and so treating yourself to good food and great service not to mention a fabulous cabin. It will make your heart sing.
