We were headed from Banff to Revelstoke and happened across this restaurant. The staff were friendly and the food was amazing, although there was a bit of a wait (which they told us about when we arrived). For some reason this wasn't listed in our GPS but glad we found it the old fashioned way: reading road signs!

I stayed two nights at the Truffle Pigs Lodge--a good base from which to explore Emerald Lake and hikes along Icefields Parkway. The room was perfectly adequate and made up each morning. I found it to be clean and comfortable. The property itself is nice if you are staying in the area (a grassy lawn and tables and chairs set... More

We arrived for our one night stay and found the room made up but the duvet cover had bodily fluid stains on it, ugh! The person who made up the room had to have seen these stains. On a positive note, this B&B had a great restaurant, actually it was the only restaurant in Field.

This place was great. It had everything we needed; kitchen suite, laundry, amenities galore, friendly staff, quiet (despite the restaurant/bar), scenic area. It was also incredibly clean and well maintained. Would definitely stay again.

Located about halfway between 2 great Yoho destinations (Emerald Lake and Takakkaw Falls), Truffle Pig is more of a motel than a lodge, in that all the rooms open onto an outdoor corridor. As it is a railway town, you will hear the freight trains pass by quite often. The room was quite spacious, with a comfortable queen size bed... More

I can't give it more than 3 for a hotel - but what it's got is a 360 view of mountains. It's just a beautiful place. It's also a train area - now I love them - but if the sound of trains bothers you - you might choose elsewhere. The bed and space is average but adequate - tub... More

We ate lunch here on a day out touring the area. The burgers, fries and salad were really good. We ate outside and the service was very attentive. The non-alcoholic ginger beer was really good and there was an excellent drinks selection. This is a really good find in a small town. If you visit Field visitor centre this is... More

We recently stayed in the truffle pig and had a disappointing experience with the hotel. The room itself was pleasant and well equipped. When we arrived at the hotel half an hour before the start of the check-in time on a rainy day, we were told that it was too early and that we had to wait and have a... More

Stayed 1 night and enjoyed it thoroughly! The room was very modern with the right type of snacks on the dresser to tempt us! The bathroom was small, but very functional with lots of hot water. The food at the bistro was exceptional! Who knew you could have a 5-star meal in such a very small village? The only drawback... More

We have been in Field in a campground for a couple of nights and decided to eat out tonite. Found this very busy restaurant in the quaint little town of Field! It was very busy and so good sign that it must serve good food! It seats more people than it looks from the outside, and the meals were awesome!... More
