Yoho guesthouse in Field is a nice and affordable base for visiting some real beautyspots in the surrounding area (Yoho NP with beautiful Emerald lake, lake O'Hara, the Iceline trail, ..., Kootenay NP, Moraine lake, Lake Louise). We stayed in the lower of the two apartments. It is a half basement apartment, but that didn't bother us at all. It's...

We were pleased with our five-night stay at Yoho Guesthouse. The suite was spacious, clean and neat, and had everything we needed. The owners were cordial and helpful. And we got a discount for paying the bill in cash. There was perhaps one drawback of being in the downstairs suite: When the upstairs suite was occupied and had the heat...

Our stay in the apartment in August 2015 for 4 nights meet all our needs - full kitchen, bathroom and sunny lounge room. Wifi and cable tv operated with good reception. Field was centrally located for trips to Lake Louise, Emerald Lake, spirral tunnels and Takakaw Falls. Dinner at Pigs and Truffles in Field was worth the 30 minute wait,...

We arrived and the parking was plenty, it is located very close to the various local food places and central to exploring Yoho and area. I'd give this a higher rating but for these items that need improvement, we had the one bedroom suite; be aware this is a half basement suit where the windows are half above grade. It...

We had the upstairs suite for a week in June 2015 and found it very comfortable, well-equipped, and quiet. Ron, the owner, was very helpful and friendly. The location is ideal as a base for visiting Yoho / Banff / Kootenay / and Glacier National Parks where we saw lots of bears, elk, deer, and goats.

We stayed at Yoho Guesthouse in early August for 3 nights in the upstairs suite. We both Loved the place. We knew about the groceries, so we bought what we needed at Nesters in Banff. One of the items we got was steelhead trout. It was so wonderful eating our steelhead trout out on the deck with a bottle of...

We stayed for three nights in the one bedroom apartment on the lower level. The location was perfect for exploring Yoho National Park and also Lake Louise. The apartment had everything that we needed for a very pleasant stay. The kitchen was very well equipped, with a large refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and all necessary cooking equipment and dishes that...
