While the setting and views from the lodge are breathtaking the overall experience was less than expected. For the price point, the rooms are lacking basic amenities, the lodge restaurant food was mediocre at best and there was little to no privacy as they allow tour busses to swarm the lodge grounds. Staff is friendly and accommodating to the best...

I never imagined the beauty of the area but the accommodations blew us away. We arrived in field area to a generous offsite parking lot well before actual lodge. Staff was prompt with shuttle and the trip was a total of five minutes. From the beginning, the staff was performing at a 5star status. Food was delicious at at every...

This place was perfect. My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights in August 2016, while traveling through the Rockies, and we couldn't have been happier. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. In my opinion, Emerald Lake was the most gorgeous lake we saw in the whole of the Rockies, and the...

We were stationed in Canmore but decided to go for a little road trip out west to see some new things. I had seen on other reviews that Emerald Lake was a nice alternative to the craziness of Moraine Lake. We just wandered around amongst the cabins and checked out the stunning views. It would be neat to stay here...

You will not find a prettier venue for a wedding anywhere in the world ... breathtakingly beautiful! Staff is courteous, helpful and very friendly. Food is excellent although service is a little on the slow side.

They need to really use the excessive rental revenue to remodel the cabins inside and outside. The location on a semi private island is amazing, but it is extremely expensive for what you are getting.

Price to high, No Wifi coverage in the room, No car access to the lodge area and it is not noted in the reservation proccess. I made a reservation 6 month before and I expect better room to be ready at time. Lodge location far from most of the attractions

Emerald Lake Lodge is well worth a stop - the lake is magical, and waking up and looking out across that view is very special. That said, you should manage your expectations, because this isn't exactly a five star experience: 1) When we arrived, we had to drag our luggage about half a mile over a bridge and up a...

The hotel is located in a very beautiful area and you live in kind of small appartments. Ours was equipped with a fireplace we used and the smell from the cedar wood was very calming and Relaxing. Two disadvantages we saw: Emerald lake is in the summer an extremely popular place, so you can only enjoy the silence in the...

This is undoubtedly a spectacular place to stay, especially if the weather is kind to you and you can enjoy the lake trail and those nearby. The Lodge offers a little piece of escapism as you look out over the lake from your cabin balcony. The rooms are comfortable if a little dated in decor. This doesn't detract from them...
