Owner Elaine was welcoming and unpretentious, we immediately felt at ease in what is her cosy home with 3 bedrooms for guests. Elaine was interested in her guests and generously lent us books and maps and shared her considerable knowledge of the hikes and sights, enabling us to make the most of this beautiful area. We could have spent soooo... More

The best place to stay in Yoho area. Beautifull and cozy home in the 'town center'. Nice double room and really charming living room. Spectacular breakfast made with affection and taking care of even the smallest details. Elaine share her home with guests and offer them all the best for a confortable stay. The best for us was sharing the... More

We have just spent three nights in this B&B in Field and were disappointed on several disappointments which are mentioned below. However let me say first up that Elaine was a wonderful host and the breakfast she prepared each day were better than most we have had. You had the full range of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt, toast and jams... More

We really appreciated the quiet of Field, BC after the crowds and noise of Banff. Elaine's place is lovely and easy to find. Our room was small and cozy with a window out to her flower garden in front. It is accepted practice to not lock your room there, although Elaine would have provided us a key if we had... More

We stayed for two nights at Coyote's Den Guesthouse. It's a great opportunity to escape the crowds at Banff. Field itself is a small community, so do not expect too much. The B&B makes you feel at home. Elaine is a warm, understanding and caring person. The rooms and bathroom are clean. Breakfast is really excellent. Field maybe small, but... More

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Coyote's Den. As others have mentioned, Elaine is friendly and welcoming and has good suggestions for places to hike and things to do. She is a wonderful cook and provided something different every morning during our week stay. She also allowed us to use the kitchen at night - a quick plate of... More

Elaine was is a wonderful hostess who not only served up nutritious and delicious breakfasts but also helped plan our itinerary. She was so knowledgable about the area and it was a pleasure to chat with her at the end of our days of hiking in Banff and Yoho. Would recommend to anyone.

Elaine is an excellent host who provides a hearty, balanced breakfast. We had snow and ice in early September but the house was very warm and she helped us de-ice the car windscreens! All three rooms share one bathroom, which we usually don't like, but it worked as Elaine seems to attract the considerate type of person. Field itself is... More

So blessed to be here, we were treated as a queen! We won't forget Elaine saved us after we was misled by the GPS and arrived there at nine without buying any food for our dinner by offering us spaghetti with tomatoes sauces. What a safe town that we lost our wallet and found it out without losing anything finally.... More

Elaine was so friendly and welcoming! She gave us great tips on planning our daily itineraries and let us borrow her bear spray and thermos for our hikes. We loved the breakfast - a great variety to choose from each morning! The town of Field, like the Coyotes Den, is just so cozy and adorable!
