Great place, friendly people, clean. Service is excellent, took a room with a kitchenette and adjoining room - best place (and last place) to stay north of Fort St John until you get to Fairbanks, Alaska. Good price, staff go the extra mile to accommodate us. Will stay again every time we drive the Alaska highway. Highly recommend this hotel accommodations. Traveled with 3 boys: 4, 5 and 10 years old.

If you're looking for a comfortable, clean, and quiet hotel, choose Woodlands. The property looks brand new because it is so well maintained. The pillow-top bed in the standard room was very comfortable - I had the best sleep on my entire trip here. The room was spotless, and I heard NO NOISE at night!! Bathroom well decorated and good shower pressure. Not a great wine selection in the liquor store, but nice to have the option. The food was crap... I hate to put it that way, but the menu talks a big game yet the food you receive is pre-packaged, and made with low-quality ingredients, re-heated fries (miracle whip instead of real mayo - real mayo not even available. Nasty Kraft bbq sauce, commercial burger patties, you name it). The service on the other hand was excellent - very attentive and friendly - and the drink specials were great. Breakfast was standard fare with nearly-raw hashbrowns and from-the-package hollandaise. Definitely stay here to sleep, but check out the Pub across the street for food.

If you ever are in Fort Nelson make sure you stay here. Nice staff, well managed and great steam shower! Nice to park and see my truck and have a plug available. David Moore and the staff are wonderful. I broke down there and the GM even drove me to the airport to make sure I got there. Thank you .

The room was clean and well-kept. The restaurant service was actually delivered in the bar, as we were there during off-season, but the service was excellent. The servers appeared to really enjoy providing service to the customers. The food was very good. I'll stay there again if I'm traveling through Fort Nelson.
