My husband and I have been driving the Alaska Highway to the Yukon every Aug for about 20 years and have stayed here about 5 times. The staff is friendly and accommodating as in letting us in to check in after midnight. We've always gotten a ground floor room that opens to the Tiki Room and pool. I especially like this since in my youth I was a Hawaiian dancer in nightclubs in the Pocono Mts and along the Jersey shore. Breakfast (bacon and eggs, toast, and a beverage) is included in the price. It has recently been sold and is being remodeled. We'll check it out again this summer.

Their information says recently renovated and I’m not sure when that was written as it appears like it’s been YEARS. old run down property, in poor condition. No exterior windows, dark, shabby dirty looking indoor pool, sauna not in operation, old school room locks, strange odors, noises and less than clean appearing. Wonderful staff and restaurant good but unless you are strictly shopping price I’d look at another property as there are better looking alternatives.

Giving this hotel a 1 star due to the bedbug found crawling on the sheet. Hotel staff seemed surprised and offered us another room right beside ours. We checked the sheets/mattresses and found stains from bedbug activity. This is an older hotel with lots of wooden cracks and crevices-great homes for these critters. We decided to stay elsewhere because if there's one of them there is probably more!! And the pool that looks so attractive is super cold!!! Even my son who jumps in all kinds of water couldn't swim in it.

It suited us so fine that we stayed there again on our way back home. Great price. Very clean. The vinyl flooring is so much better than some carpet floors I've experienced. Very nice decor - has a retro vibe but its not old it's new. Comfy bed. Fridge, microwave, good coffee. No breakfast supplied but you're seconds away from Tim Horton's anyways.

The but the prices were very reasonable compared to Whitehorse or Dawson City. Prompt service, for a tired traveler. Had a handy suitcase trolly. Easy parking, hours for the bar were a little on the short side bar closed at 9pm during the week, kitchen closed at 10PM because we arrived late we had to rush get a cocktail and then dinner,
