I spend 4 glorious days skiing the first week of March at Talus. We had boot deep powder runs in interesting terrain. The views were spectacular and the food was beyond wonderful. I am already panning a summer trip to the sam location. Sara and Thomas, the owners are incredible mountain people, with an absolute love and eep knowledge of their terrain. The guides were skilled and entertaining.
Awesome guides, amazing scenery, varied terrain, with touring options for everyone. Rooms large and comfortable, excellent food, and much appreciated sauna, and interesting shower awaiting after skiing. A wonderful experience, we will go again!
We had people in their 60s and 30s at Talus and we all had a great time. There was powder and slopes for all to enjoy. The guides, food and hut were all top notch. Thanks for being a great host, Thomas
My husband and I visited Talus Lodge the first week of opening Feb. 6 to 10. We had an amazing stay and they accommodated us in every way. Most people had AT gear and we had light backcountry touring skis with metal edges! Oops. They were very gracious and allowed Travis, the practicum, to ski with us every day. It was one of the best vacations we have had and would recommend it highly. It is not a cushy resort, but it has all the basics with the best food. The scenery can't be beat. We asked about bringing a group of non AT ski set-up people and they said 10 could just rent the place for the whole time. Bring shovel, beacon and probe.
Talus (ta•lus), cozy lodge @ 2300m; great skiing, beautiful hiking, good times & delicious food shared with friends:) Whether it’s summer rambling in the alpine meadows or exploring new ski terrain you will not be disappointed. It’s crazy, but Talus will fill you up, but leave you wanting more!!
