We had a wonderful one-night stay in this quaint inn. The view from our room was fantastic, and the room itself was well renovated and very comfortable. A/c, ceiling fans, quiet atmosphere, and comfy bed, too boot. The breakfast was scrumptious and nutritious. Owners are very accommodating about eating times and choices. An excellent stay.

We could not have asked for a better place to stay in Lunenburg! The Addington Arms was perfectly situated in town, which made it so easy to walk everywhere. We stayed in the Topsail Suite, which greatly exceeded my expectations. The suite was huge and consisted of a bedroom, plus a sitting room and a large washroom. It was very...

Last time we were in Nova Scotia, we did not get to Lunenburg. It is now my favorite place in NS. This B&B is run by Christine Cooper who is terrific. She was so helpful while I was making our reservation and terrifc from the moment we arrived. Room was huge, overlooked the harbor, airy and clean. Everything worked great...

You're in for a real treat if you stay at the Addington Arms. The accommodations are luxurious and spacious, the location is superb for venturing out to see Lunenberg and the breakfast was so awesome. We enjoyed the best blueberry pancakes I've ever had with an incredible orange sauce. The hostess made us truly feel welcome and even provided us...

We spent a night at the Addington Arms and wished we could have stayed longer. The accommodation was grand. We stayed in the Heritage suite which was spacious and elegant with breath taking views of the harbour. The breakfast the next morning was delicious. We had fresh fruit and yogurt, scrambled eggs with sausage accompanied by delicious pancakes, juice and...

Absolutely the best b&b so far on our travels in Nova Scotia - 5* plus. Chris was so welcoming and friendly. The AA is a fabulous building and the room we had was charming. Beautifully decorated and furnished. We had a small lounge with tv but sadly no time to enjoy. Toiletries were plentiful and beautiful fluffy towels. Breakfast was...

Despite the less-than-desirable weather, we truly enjoyed our stay at this B&B. Chris was very hospitable and welcoming. From the moment we arrived, Chris was helpful and forthcoming with advice and information, ensuring we had a very pleasant experience. Over the two days, the breakfast consisted of fruit, delicious scrambled eggs, pancakes, juices bacon, and delicious sausages. The food was...

This statement fits Addington Arms B&B in all respects. In all my travels Chris and Dan were the two most hospitable and friendly hosts we have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Chris's smile was enough to carry the day, but she was so helpful and forthcoming with advice and information, ensuring we had a very pleasant and relaxing stay...

Hosts Chris and Dan couldn't have been more helpful to these high-maintenance guests. We were flying out from Halifax the next morning and I was worried we might not have time to print our boarding passes at the airport after the drive from Lunenburg. I asked Chris if she would print out the passes for us, and she very kindly...

The Innkeeper Chris was most hospitable and helped us find the best way to spend our two days in Lunenburg. She provided great directions to scenic views of Blue Rocks and nearby Mahone Bay. The food was great, as was the charm of the place.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Addington Arms B&B sits atop 2 fine art galleries and atop the six square block historic district of this UNESCO world heritage site, affording ocean views from all of our suites and room. Shopping, dining and exploring are all just steps outside your front door. We are not your typical B&B but more akin to a boutique hotel, with stocked mini fridges, TV's and en-suite steam-rooms with aroma therapy or an air-jet tub in very spacious surroundings. On-site parking is available as street parking is problematic in the summer months. Our breakfasts are as memorable as the town of Lunenburg itself. ... more   less
