We had a wonderful one-night stay in this quaint historical inn. We stayed in Flying Jib room. The view from our room was fantastic, and the room itself was well renovated. Bathroom include steam and oils. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. The Addington Arms was perfectly situated in town, which made it so easy to walk everywhere. Chris was...

We stayed at a number of B&B's on this Maritime vacation and I would say Addington Arms had the best host, nicest rooms, and best breakfast of all the B&B's we stayed at. (That's saying something as we stayed at some nice places with very good hosts.) The rooms at this B&B are very spacious and well kept. Chris is...

This has got to be the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Chris is so welcoming, helpful and entertaining. We had the heritage suite with the amazing views over Lunenburg and the harbour. This truly is a suite, decorated beautifully with everything you need. The bed was very comfortable and the living room encouraged lounging with a bottle of...

We were skeptical about a B & B breakfast served restaurant-style with six guests per half hour. The concept works amazingly well. No clueless zombies drifting into the breakfast room wondering, "Where am I? What am I supposed to do?" Don is a chef not a cook. The rooms are uniquely decorated in faux-Victorian-style appropriate to Lunenburg. The bathrooms (we...

On the tenth night of our two week Canadian Maritime B&B extravaganza, two couples elected to stay at the Addington Arms in the quaint and historic village of Lunenburg, NS. What a find! Chris greeted us at least an hour before normal check in saying that it was absolutely no problem and that she actually preferred early registrations. Our rooms...

We spent 1 night in the Spankersail Suite, which was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. Bathroom wonderful. Our host was friendly and informative about the town. Breakfast superb--my husband said it was the best smoked salmon he's every had. All in all, a great experience.

We had a 36 hr break from the kids so we hit Rissers Beach and then made our way to Lunenburg, where my husband assured me we would find a place "no problem." Um. Problem! THERE IS NEXT TO NO VACANCY in Lunenburg in August! We stopped into 7 or 8 places and were just about to give up when...

Fabulous stay in Lunenburg. The breakfasts were so delicious-Dan cooking and Chris serving and always being her warm delightful self. Chris is very well organised and had maps to give us directions to sites around town. She was so accommodating to us and we really loved staying there.

We had a wonderful one-night stay in this quaint inn. The view from our room was fantastic, and the room itself was well renovated and very comfortable. A/c, ceiling fans, quiet atmosphere, and comfy bed, too boot. The breakfast was scrumptious and nutritious. Owners are very accommodating about eating times and choices. An excellent stay.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Addington Arms B&B sits atop 2 fine art galleries and atop the six square block historic district of this UNESCO world heritage site, affording ocean views from all of our suites and room. Shopping, dining and exploring are all just steps outside your front door. We are not your typical B&B but more akin to a boutique hotel, with stocked mini fridges, TV's and en-suite steam-rooms with aroma therapy or an air-jet tub in very spacious surroundings. On-site parking is available as street parking is problematic in the summer months. Our breakfasts are as memorable as the town of Lunenburg itself. ... more   less
