The Bluenose Lodge is a Victorian Inn, circa 1863. Situated at the entrance of "Old Town", Lunenburg. All Lunenburg restaurants, museums etc. are within walking distance to the Lodge. In 1946, the home was converted to a Lodge and has been enjoyed by the public ever since. Complimentary snacks and fresh fruit. Fully stocked Coffee/tea station in every room. Fresh fruit available in the foyer. We are a smoke free facility and don't allow any pets on site. We thoroughly enjoyed our "antique" room and its trappings. The night was quiet and the bed comfortable. Our hostess prepared delicious crepes for breakfast, and we plan to stay again. We were lucky to get a king bedroom on the ground floor so as not to have to climb stairs.

We stayed at the Inn on September 10 for the night on our way to through the south shore. There were four of us and we stayed in the carriage house located behind the Inn. It was full of so much character and was in a great spot in town. The beds were comfortable and the room had a Kerig and lots of supplies for us. The Inn itself it stunning and full of old charm. I would highly recommend this wonderful Inn to anyone travelling to Lunenburg. There is a great little pub across the street you should check out for dinner.

Clean, beautiful old building within walking distance to the Lunenburg waterfront, and downtown. Very friendly staff who will help you with any information you may want to know about Lunenburg. Enjoyed our stay!

This historic inn was reasonably priced. It is not a B&B because no breakfast is included but the rooms were nicely furnished and the setting is lovely. It's an easy walk to downtown Lunenburg so you won't have to deal with parking issues. We had a few issues which were addressed by the innkeeper and a partial refund was issued. If you're traveling on a budget, this is a nice place to stay.

Small room, comfortable but minimal ammenities. The staff was friendly and helpful but not always around. Breakfast snacks delivered to room each morning but still needed to eat breakfast out. Would stay here again because of location. Quiet, beautiful, neighborhood with lovely walking paths. Great and easy walk to downtown waterfront but it was nice to get "away" from the busy center and come back to this inn and have peaceful surroundings.

Thank you Shelby, I’m so glad you had a peaceful night. We’ve often thought about how it’s nice to get away from the noisy town centre. Although we are an Inn and not a bed & breakfast, we still provide free coffee/tea and complimentary snacks and fruit each day to our guests. The Inn is large, and we do not live on site. That said, my staff and I are always available 24/7 ... If we are not visible, we are a phone call away. Thanks for visiting us! Andrea
