WOW this was a great find. Michael & David were fabulous hosts. Michael did the cooking and David was the PR person who served the breakfast and chatted with the guests. We stayed 2 nights in Lunenberg and could have had longer as it is such a quaint little village. Do yourself a favour and stay with Michael & David... More

All around great place. You should stay here. The hosts were excellent and the room was perfect. Close to everything in the UNESCO area and there was port laid out every night when we returned. The restaurant recommendations the hosts made were spot on.

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed it the most of any place we stayed on our 10 day trip (and we stayed a different place every day except Lunenburg). It was also the most amazing value. Very comfortable rooms, with access to a suntrap deck. The 2 course breakfasts are gourmet, and different everyday. The hosts are very welcoming... More

Stayed two nights first week in Oct. David and Michael are great hosts, breakfasts were outstanding, coffee was delicious and location couldn't have been better, quiet but walking distance to the action.

Great bay view, lovely & very well kept house & most gracious hosts. Michael & David did their very best to make us feel welcome & relaxed. Our room was very spacious & comfortable with our own private outside sitting area. The icing on our stay was returning in the evening to find a decanter of port on the coffee... More

From the first contact with Michael and David, we had a great feeling about them. The breakfasts were amazing and I am, as my partner would say, a little fussy. We have a wheat sensitivity and whilst many places claim to be gluten free, they do it with gritted teeth and offer something similar to a piece of styrofoam. Not... More

Thanks so much, Jane and Linda! You were such wonderful guests, it was our pleasure to make you comfortable, and Michael genuinely enjoys trying new recipes for guests for food intolerances. And thanks also for the tips about Harry. Our guesthouse in Mexico is called Xocotla, in Sayulita. We'd love to have you come down anytime! Thanks again. More

We have stayed here before and it simply gets better and better. Michael is a wonderful chef and David is the most gracious breakfast host. The ambiance, service and location are all second to none.
