This B&B is up a hill , so we usually took our car. Our room was on the top floor, 3 floors up, making it a little difficult for seniors to hall up their luggage. One thing, it seemed any time you asked the man for info, he never knew and didn't,t offer to get you an answer. The breakfast... More

This place is off the high traffic tourist streets but very close to everything. The staff is helpful, friendly and available for recommendations and directions. The reason for this review as average is because the room itself was very small and the bathroom was not convenient. There was no place to put toiletries so I used the dresser on the... More

This was our first time to Lunenburg and Nova Scotia. We couldn't have chosen a more beautiful, well-kept, and well-run B&B. Th Boscawen Inn is in a perfect location with spectacular views of the water. It is in walking distance to shops, restaurants and attractions. It is not on the water (as some other Inns and hotels are) so it's... More

From the moment we walked through the front door, and were greeted warmly by Kate, we knew this was going to be a wonderful experience. Still in awe of the architectural beauty of this Inn, we made our way to our room only to find the best view anyone could ask for. We were in room 305, the turret room,... More

An old, beautifully kept Inn, centrally located. We were in room 305 which is a large corner room on the top floor. The view from the windows was stunning and the room clean and comfortable. Breakfast (included) downstairs was very good and the hosts were friendly and very helpful.

We stayed here for one night with another couple and this charming inn is a wonderful experience. Jon and Judy are very warm hosts and bring much character to the Inn, which is quite unique. Breakfasts are excellent and served in a very nice room downstairs. If you are in the area, we strongly recommend not to miss staying here.... More

Although I stayed only one night, I specifically chose this B&B because of its location. I was attending the Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival, and it is the B&B that is located closest to the evening concert on the hill, making it unnecessary to take the car to the evening concert. It is also located next to the church where some... More

We stayed here for 2 nights, I think because we had looked at SO many hotels rooms (we were travelling around NS) we didn't give this one as much consideration as we should have. I also think that when we booked the room the better, bigger rooms had been booked. Our room was very small & very warm (yes there... More

Thank you for taking the time to review. I believe it is actually an asset of ours that we do have different sized rooms so that we can off a variety of affordability from $99, which I believe was your room to $225 for the honeymoon suite. That way no matter what your price point is, everyone can enjoy the... More

The Boscawen is an impeccably kept historic inn, made finer by the owners' splendid attention to detail. It spanned from the printed recommendations note in the room to the delicious breakfast to the lavender by your bedside table. We stayed 2 nights - and the inn was perfectly situated for our needs. It was a stone's throw from all the... More

What a spectacular building! Just beautiful. So many antiques and decorations. Amazingly friendly hosts, great location and delicious hot breakfast. View of the water from the decks is amazing too. Would definitely recommend and will stay again!
