A last minute ski vacation to a new resort. Homewood Suites were recommended by my daughters. On line reviews suggested that this was a ski in/ski out hotel. On arrival a lack of snow meant this was not the case - a 2-3 minute walk to the snow was required. We arrived late evening (equivalent of 2-3am UK time) so was a little tired. Check in was quick and easy. Upon entering our one bedroom apartment we were very pleased with what we saw, even more so when i opened the blinds in the morning to see we had a mountain view. Bed was comfy, pillows were on the soft side for my taste. Bathroom was an adequate size and more importantly - clean. TV's in both the lounge area and bedroom. kitchen area was ok and came with a microwave. We had a defective/dangerous kettle (it sparked when trying to get it to work). A quick call to the front desk and a new kettle arrived in under 5 mins - very impressed. Staff member stayed to ensure it worked. Breakfast was included and was reasonable. Nothing to shout about but there were sufficient options to keep us happy. Staff were pleasant and very friendly. As a non-french speaker, they did not assume I spoke French which i appreciated. All in, this was a good recommendation and a pleasant 10 days were spent at the hotel. Would we return to this hotel, yes we would if we returned to the resort.

We had a great stay at the Homewood Suites in Mont Tremblant at the end of May. The staff a check-in were very friendly and knowledgeable. My Hilton Diamond status was recongnised and I was provided a room upgrade. The suites are a good size and there was plenty of room for me and my family of four. As the restaurants were still closed we had a lot of space in the suite to eat our takeout. The suites also included a kitchen with a stove, oven, and dishwasher. The hotel is located right in the middle of Mont Tremblant very close to restaurants and activities such as the summer luge. It the winter its conviently located for the ski lifts. The pool was open and you had to book a time to go. We had no problems booking times in both the pool and hot tub. Complimentary breakfast was available even during the COVID restrictions. Its provided in a box which contained fruit, yogurt, and option such as a croissant. My only suggestion for an improvement would to give a few more options or flexibility of what you could have. Parking is available at the hotel for a reasonable price of $15 CAD.

Check in was easy, there is a ski room as you cant take them to your own rooms. They supply locks for the skis which you can also use on the communal ski racks on the pistes which is a good idea. They hold a copy of your card as a deposit. One thing to mention as this is advertised as a ski in-ski out hotel. This is NOT true. You do need to walk round to the slopes and also walk back around from the slopes. It is not far at all and only takes a couple of minutes . Its a small point but if you specifically want ski in and ski out, this will not be the case. Rooms are clean and you can have a clean if you ask for one otherwise they leave you to it. Breakfast has a hot selection , mainly the same everyday, consisting of eggs , sausage or burger, pancakes and either tots or hash browns. They have cereals, continental selections , fresh fruit and breads. The breads arent always the freshest but the rest is all served buffet style and is ok. Most impressive about the hotel and in fact the whole resort is the environmental awareness. They encourage recycling everywhere and everyone cleans away their own plates and cups. This also happens in the quick service restaurant on the top of the mountain. There is no litter on the streets and everything is tidy. The UK could learn a lot from this. There is no bar in the hotel but there are kitchen facilities in most rooms which are well equipped and clean. We had a slope-facing room which overlooked the main slopes. It was an amazing view to wake up to but make sure you pull the curtains otherwise you will get woken up throughout the night by the bright lights of the piste bashers. The resort itself is very expensive. Especially the price of alcohol. Its a complete tourist trap and remember they have higher taxes to pay on each meal or shopping . In the resort there is one small supermarket, again very high prices. $100 goes in an instant with little to show for it. The boutiques are nice but again over priced. There is a gorgeous hot chocolate shop which is a must if you like chocolate and the chocolate factory shop is beautiful. Best restaurants were A Mano for Italian and lovely atmosphere, Fat Mundis for snacks and drinks and also for a meal with a difference try La Savoie which is a cheese raclette and fondue restaurant. It is pricier but worth it for the experience. Beavertails are a lovely local snack . Its a stretched sweet doughnut style base with various toppings to choose from. SKI-ING We were not beginners and didnt need ski school. We also took our own equipment. However we also felt comfortable on the longer green runs and easy blues ( European reds) rather then the advanced blues or blacks. The green runs are the same as the European blues. These runs however are beautiful and mainly run through the trees or have interesting off shoots which are tempting for those more experienced so even as an intermediate skier they provide a fun ski from the top of the mountain all the way to the base. The issue with that is that fast advanced ski-ers whizz past you. We saw many learners struggling because they nearly got taken out by an advanced ski-er! At the weekend they have ski patrols out to slow them down but we didnt see them during the week. This situation got extremely frustrating and sometimes it was like pulling out onto a busy main road in the car! All in all, its a beautiful place, everything is easily accesible but its way over priced. The area of Montreal is nice but its a one and done for us but would like to try other areas of Canada instead. Air Canada flights are ok but food is very bad, especially on the way back to the UK.

The two best things about this hotel are the hot tub and its close proximity to the hill. Rooms are decent - little outdated. We had a corner suite which had windows surrounding the room that made for nice views. The breakfast is good as well. Reasons for the 3 stars - I’ll start with the fact that the room we selected to stay in wasn’t the room we picked. It says queen bed and it’s not. It’s a double bed (we measured) all the pillows are hard down filled which weren’t comfortable. At the price of 480$ per night there wasn’t even complimentary water in the room, the Aquafina vending machine was empty the entire 5 days we were there. It’s extremely loud in this hotel - we tried putting towels at the bottom of our door to try and silence the loud families and clanking ski boots that start around 7am. We were woken up every night around 2:45 am by intoxicated people either outside or in the halls. When you check in you’re given a lock system to store your boards or skis (they are forbidden in rooms) problem is - the three days we needed the service it was full, there was about 8 spots that were broken. Parking? Very expensive (50$ per day) if you don’t fit in underground parking (we have a ski rack so didn’t fit) or if it’s full. If you don’t want to pay it’s a 10 minute walk from free parking. Over all it’s great if all you care about is close proximity and a nice hot tub and sauna. It’s really overpriced (even though it’s Tremblant) for what it is.

We've traveled all over and stayed slope side, but this place was less desirable. Lot's of stairs, locked doors that take two people to open and very difficult to move in. No elevator on our floor, had to walk out the back, then though the courtyard, up stairs, hold doors, get dripped on from the roof. Way too much work for the price. We were told although our room was difficult to get to, it was very quiet. It was not quiet...drunk, lost people roaming around all night, and it backed up to an access road that woke us up every morning with plows, snow mobiles dragging sleds on the stones they throw out. Very very load. The suite says queen bed and it was a full, very uncomfortable. The pull out sofa is horrible. Ski storage and again, the doors are a pain. Love skiing Mont Tremblant and will be choose a better place next time.

I overall liked the hotel, the pool, the room, the view and how close it was to the hill. I think i paid 1100$ per night and for that price i would’ve expected more for the service. I brought my dog and didnt tell the staff, thats on me i get that. A few hourd before i was about ro leave the hotel, they told me they charged me 150$ for my dog because they only accepted service dogs. She got out of the reception to scream at me when my hands were full, when i told her my daughter was getting the skis and that we would talk when i check out. I did pay but after leaving i did notice that they charged me 400$ extra and i genuinely think they were lost and didnt know what they were doing.

This is our ninth or tenth time here, which says a lot. The breakfast is back to its normal pre-Covid variety, which is nice. Upon check-in, if you book a one-bedroom suite, there is always this fear of getting a 3rd floor room which is far away from the elevator, as you will be carrying your stuff through one (or two, if really unlucky) set of stairs, where the baggage trolley is of no use. We lucked out this time, getting a room in the proximity of the elevator, so no complaints there. The fireplace worked, and we enjoyed it a lot - you can bring your own fake logs, or buy one from the hotel at $7.50 a piece. The location is awesome, and we feel pity for those who stay in the middle of the village, as walking in ski boots uphill may be hard. The following points have nothing to do with the hotel, but wanted to post it here for awareness: there is no more snowtubing, and the skating rink is now just a small pad right in front of the church, not the whole area, like before. Thus, we were left without two evening activities that kids always enjoyed. Overall, a good stay, will be back next year!

A great place to stay when skiing at Tremblant. The lifts are a minute or two walk from the hotel, and you are surrounded by all the amenities of the ski village. We never had to use our car all week, and it was nice to have indoor parking. The hotel suites are spacious and spotless, complimentary breakfast is varied and tasty, and staff is welcoming and helpful. Our room had a fireplace and overlooked the village and mountain, with a lovely view. Ski lockers are provided for your convenience as well.
