The experience was passable but for the price charged, besides the proximity to the hill, I would have preferred Quintessence or another more updated hotel. The decor is dated and the vibe feels cheap and rigid. The terrace level floor smells of diapers (babies are seen on the floor being changed) and sweaty skiers. There was very little enforcement about wearing masks and it did not feel safe, especially at the pool. There was absolutely no flexibility from management considering we are in the height of the pandemic, holiday season and this is a family hotel that is renowned in Canada. I would have preferred to have had a gift certificate issued and to visit at a later (safer) date. But Accor provides zero return/exchange policy for Covid even if members of my party were tested positive. Shocking. Furthermore I was appalled that the New Years Eve menu charges $250 per person (plus tax and gratuity) but when I suggested that my 2 children could not eat the whole menu and could I buy one meal for them to share it was absolutely not allowed. They cannot afford to lose one seat. I could have came and ate alone at a table of 2 and then what? They would have lost one seat at $250. What they offered was not worth that amount anyway. The irony was the Resto was shut down by the government just hours before and they had to offer their menu at less than half price as a room service item.

Hotel's Favorite
We had a great stay at Tremblant for 5 nights. The room was clean and well maintained, with a beautiful view of the village and slopes. There was one cleaning given the pandemic that was done professionally in our absence. The ski valet and ski in and out are features that make the skiing vacation even more enjoyable. The external pools were open and are great for après ski (reservation needed). We felt very safe and the hotel staff were doing their best in these challenging times. Employees were always courteous and helpful. Thank you!

We splurged and stayed at the ski in/out Fairmont Tremblant and truly enjoyed it. The personnel is very attentive and helpful. Covid restrictions are well adhered to and masks are required everywhere. Thankfully, our 1st night, the 20th, we took advantage of the Veuve Clicquot experience in the Snow and just in time as new Covid restrictions were in place the following night and it was cancelled. We also used the pool/sauna and that was an amazing crazy experience for our family! Back to the skiing, the Rental and Valet are such a help and very well run. Regrettably, the 1st step of the rental process is to get a print out of the Ski Rental Ticket at the Billeterie run by Tremblant, not the Hotel, and their times and personnel weren’t well coordinated, which caused us to miss our 1st day of First Tracks. I was concerned re rooms and noises from other reviews and didn’t experience any issues. Our room was on the 3rd floor and overlooking the slopes. We had an adjoined room but never heard them. PS: Ricochet Cafe is an awesome little spot for a quick drink/snack.

I stayed her for my birthday with my family. We paid for an upgrade to a kitchenette suite. The room was decent, but not as good as some of the other Fairmont properties. The room design was outdated and it seemed small for a junior suite. I actually preferred the deluxe room that I stayed in previously. Other than that, the facilities were great. The outdoor pool was nice and they had numerous activities for the kids, like movies and a game room. We will probably be back, but will be more selective with the room.

We usually travel to New York, NY, on this particular weekend. Because of the pandemic, we stayed local. Last year, we reserved at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth, and invited our daughter from Quebec City. We had our dinner catered in the beautiful Griffintown Suite. In the winter, we stayed at the Château Frontenac in Quebec City. Always a pleasure. It was our first stay at Fairmont Tremblant. What a disappointment. The suite was old, poorly decorated and below Fairmont standards. We we given, upon paying an extra 60$ for the upgrade, a room next to the elevators, and where the cleaning crew kept the dirty linen and empty plates from rooms service during cleaning process, so for a few hours. No a pleasant thing to go thru when you go back to your room.

Room Tip: We were on the sixth floor, and the room was old and unwelcoming. Even paid extra for it...
