stayed for four nights at the Mont Tremblant Fairmont for three days of golf with a group of 177 women. the organizers choice of meals was poor and unappealing and the dinners were substandard, not hot, dry and store-bought desserts

Visiting to cheer on an Iron Man athlete. Service was great, food was excellent. All the little things - from the valet service to how crispy the bacon was cooked - were performed to perfection. This was our second visit to the Fairmont Tremblant - but our first in the summer. The proximity to the village and the Iron Man Swim/Bike/Run checkpoints really enhanced our stay.

This is our 3rd summer coming back to Fairmont Tremblant for a family vacation. We were assigned a corner room which meant 2 windows - it was lovely having such a bright and airy room. The staff are, as always, very helpful and go out of their way to make you feel at home. We celebrated my husband's birthday and Fairmont very kindly set up a birthday card and some lovely cookies. As it was the first week back to school for the Quebec kids, the hotel wasn't that busy and the pools, at times, were empty. The 3 pools and 2 hot tubs are amazing and we literally had to drag our daughter out of the pool every night to go to bed. The bathrooms could be considered a tad dated but I like it - it makes it feel very homey and not that sterile feeling you get from all glass and chrome! Thank you so much to Madame Anne Marie Johns, General Manager, and her staff for another excellent birthday adventure. We hope to be back next year!

We had a nice weekend at the Fairmont Tremblant in September. The weather was beautiful, the hotel had a very relaxed feel, the room was quaint (the bed was heavenly). We had dinner at Choux Gras. I must say the food was excellent, and staff was very attentive and accommodating (we asked the maître D' if she could have the music changed and she made it happen). We also had a chance to try the external pool - which was amazingly warm and tranquil.

Everything was great! The food, the room, the staff and the facilities. We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The staff went out of their way to ensure that our needs were met. We were addressed by name, asked if we needed anything and our requests were dealt with immediately.

We arrived early in the morning and opted for the valet parking at the hotel. The added bonus was that we were able to check our baggage and enjoy the facilities while our rooms were being readied. The welcoming reception desk people checked us in efficiently and handed me the activity schedule. We happened to be just in time for a free guided group hiking tour starting in a few minutes so my daughter and I signed up. It was a very pleasant 60 minute hike in the forest to see some water falls on the mountain which I later revisited with my family when they finally arrived later in the day. We got a text message that our rooms were ready just before 1pm and they were able to make sure our rooms were on the same floor and near each other. They delivered our luggage to our rooms and we were able to rest a bit before our next hike. We had rooms with very nice views on the 4th floor and a window that opened so we could enjoy the sounds of activity and shows going on below. The rooms were clean and in good condition. The parking is in and out upon request and the valet staff was very helpful despite being very busy on this holiday long weekend. The only thing that could have been better was that we had asked for our electric car to be charged while parked but it had not been done. Our room card keys got demagnetized but the reception desk fixed them quickly. Overall an excellent experience and we look forward to our next stay.

I’ve been travelling different countries, visiting & staying at different Mid to high-end luxury hotels. This is my first time writing a review , all because of this hotel. let me tell you this is definitely not a “Luxury” hotel, more like a mid level hotel. Pros: Location. Only 1 reason. That’s all… Cons: I paid 500$ A night and Nothing included. Simply outdated!! Need major RENOVATION PLEASE~ in the room & bathroom ASAP! On top of that, this day and age, NO high speed Wifi included. You get Mcdo wifi. And the Final knockout punch: I could only see a roof and a rain gutter when you open the window curtains. Try to get a room anything above from 3rd floor. This is my first and last time here. Hope this can help for anyone who is interested before booking.

Response from Julie L, Other at Fairmont Tremblant

We are disappointed to see your experience was not what you anticipated. We wish we would have known sooner of your disappointment with your room view. We have many different room layouts in the hotel and would have tried our best to find a better view for you as we strive daily to deliver an amazing guest experience. Please note that plans are in place to adress the improvements of the guest rooms in the future. Our ALL Accor members received complimentary WiFi, and it is free to join this loyalty program. You can sign up online, or at check-in on when you arrive. We hope you will reconsider and give us an opportunity to welcome you back in the future.

In terms of location it’s perfect and the amenities for kids such as pools is great. I wish they had the fire pit going with marshmallows like last year but apparently they only do that in the fall. The rooms though need an overall renovation. No USB plugs, torn carpet, washroom shampoos were empty, mattresses need to be replaced, and waited 20min after 4 till I walked up and asked why I haven’t gotten my room when it was supposed to be ready at 4. We enjoy staying at the Fairmont but it’s really overpriced at the coffee bar 7$ for a shot of espresso which the beans tasted old. Breakfast was amazing I would recommend getting that. With kids the dinner restaurant’s are not for them or kid friendly. The only thing that was is the room service and I wish they had burger options at their restaurants or nachos, more kid friendly. In terms of service everyone there was pleasant.

Accor is one of my favorite hotel brands and I have exceptional memories of Accor properties where I've stayed at in the past. Fairmont is a name that evokes a sense of grandeur given its history and brand image. So I was really excited to stay at a Fairmont for the first time. I will first list what is good at this property: -Location, location, location. This is smack right in the Mont Tremblant village and right next to the Cabriolet, Panoramic Gondola and also the Luge! -The staff are very cordial and eager to please (although they fall short sometimes...see below) - The room we got was large and although the interior is not modern, it was very clean, cozy and comfortable. -The dude at the coffee bistro on the terrace level whips up a wicked mocha...plus he is polite and friendly as hell. And now for the bad: -No self parking and valet parking is expensive. - No free internet for guests in the rooms! Oh the horror! In today's day and age, even the worst/ shoddy/ squalid/ sleazy hospitality attachments offer complimentary wifi in their rooms. Not at the Fairmont Tremblant where youre supposed to pay. You're lucky if your phone is able to catch a signal of the "Fairmont Public" network which is apparently only available in public areas and could be beaten by a snail in a race. Tip: Stay on a lower floor and close to the elevators and hold your phone high up in the air close to the room's door. - If you've not paid a premium rate for a room, good luck with getting "a view". I could only see a roof and a rain gutter from mine (I kid you not). - The staff committ to provide something and then conveniently forget about it. WTH? -No water (at a Fairmont???) or microwave in the rooms (Not having a microwave is OK but no water?). - Breakfast is included. Or is it? Ensure that you know what is your priced limit. I was hoping that there would be a buffet breakfast at a FAIRMONT but it's a ala carte affair. Items are extremely expensive and you'll run a hefty bill if breakfast isn't included in your package. Furthermore, there is a price limit on the package as well. If you order stuff and it goes over the limit, you will be charged extra. My stay left a bad taste in the mouth. To be honest there is so much going for this hotel in terms of location. But the guest experience is a disgrace and I would prefer staying elsewhere during my next visit to the area. This is a perfect example of what not to do at a hotel. Stay away.

We stayed for one night and had a very good experience. Hotel rooms were classic old world charm but still modern. Amenities were good with nespresso coffee. Our room had a beautiful view of the village and pool which I really enjoyed. Service was excellent, both reception, valet and bell boys. The hotel is in a great location with plenty of stuff for kids to do a mere 2 mins away. We ate in the bar restaurant and I had one of the best ceases salads ever, I was surprised! Pool area is super busy so don’t expect a spot by the pool unless you’re there very early
