Avoid booking directly with the hotel. The rate I accepted when booking was not honored. When I inquired about the discrepancy, I was told that the nightly rate was increased due to "service charges" for breakfast, even though I did not once have breakfast at the hotel. No justification was provided about how such services charges were calculated. Frustrating and deceptive.

Overall great experience! Pros: 1. Lovely beach! 2.Nice dock with kayaks, canoes and pedal boats free of use before 5 pm! 3.Enough beach chairs and nice view. 4. Spacious, bike friendly. Very cool bike trails in the wood! 5. OK service. Cons: 1. Rooms are a bit outdated. 2. Lake-level suites give you convenient lake access but the problem is the door to the patio can't be locked from outside. Didn't feel so safe to go out from the patio side leaving my room unlocked because it's actually accessible for anyone even from outside the hotel... 3. The beach is small. We didn't go in the busy season so we didn't find it crowded. But this is already better than other 3 star hotels. 4. Kind of understaffed... But I assume it's because of the season. 5. Balconies and patios are semi-private. Not very exclusive structure so you may have your neighbours sitting right by your side lol.

Room Tip: Lake-level suite is OK if you don't mind going out from the patio leaving the room unlocked....

We stayed at Le Grand Lodge recently for just one night (which is not enough) and enjoyed our brief stay at this lovely place. Unfortunately, because of COVID-19 restrictions, the hotel was not fully operational such as the diningroom and beautiful lounge area. A nice breakfast, however, was served as room service. The rooms are like mini-condos, with a livingroom with a gas fireplace, kitchen, bedroom, two bathrooms and a balcony overlooking a gorgeous lake with a small beach. With a Murphy bed and pullout couch, the unit could sleep six. The king size bed was so comfortable! The atmosphere is all very old-world Canadiana feel. A symmetrical pine forest is right next to the hotel, as well as a golf course. There's a lot to do such as visiting the Mont-Tremblant villages close by (a free public bus stops at the hotel), as well as a Scandinavian spa, boating, swimming in the indoor swimming pool, hiking, biking and just relaxing and enjoying the view and atmosphere. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Wished we had stayed longer. And hope to return soon when everything is open again.

Loooove the easy lakefront access with a sandy beach and the bonus of free kayak, pedal boats and canoe rentals as well as the wonderful huge lawn equipped with plenty of comfy lounge chairs for all… No gas motors allowed so perfect for swimming. Great hiking and biking trails as well that you can take directly from the lodge The room was clean and bed super comfy, and I love that they all have two bathrooms ! All the staff was super friendly and welcoming, from the lady at check in to the sweet young girls at the beach rental kiosk to the lady who granted us an extra hour for check out. All in all a classic great long weekend at the lake !
