I was on my way to Nova Scotia from Ontario and needed a place to stay overnight. I stopped here because it came up on my GPS. I looked at the room before I booked it. It didn't look great but it was cheap and I was tired. When I went to roll down the covers there were ants crawling...

While travelling from Halifax to Toronto, I grabbed a room at this place. The staff were very friendly. The rooms are clean. Its just off the highway and sometimes all you need is a quick sleep a decent included breakfast which they had.... Toast Cereal, Coffee, Tea, Juice, eggs etc. They even have free Wifi , a pool and the...

The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. The room was dated but did the trick when you are just stopping along the highway before more driving. Continental breakfast was lacking but for the price I cannot complain

Pretty much what you would expect, place is dated but the room and beds were clean and the staff was very friendly and very accommodating. Very close to the highway so it's a nice quick rest-stop if you're on the road.

Handy location...but there the good news ends! Grounds have so much potential, but were very unkept; lobby outdated and shabby, front desk a bit surly. Room very very old and tired! Towels and sheets stained and un-usable..placed our beach towels over sheets to sleep. Bed(s) lumpy and sagging. Strange smell from water in sink; didn't risk a shower. Breakfast choices...

The first room was unmade and the toilet was completely broken. Second room? Large mystery stains all over the sheets and urine stains (and smells) on the comforter.....we left shocked and found other accomodations.

Do I still gets points if I simply say "ditto" to everything RomaFitz wrote on July 27? We had a good sleep, which was most important, and the place was basically clean (although our carpet could have used a better cleaning and vacuuming). But it is tired, and I detected a mild musty smell when we first entered the room....

The rooms are getting dated, however for the price well worth the stay. Rooms were nice and clean with a nice breakfast being provided. A/C was very quiet and provided for a grean night's sleep. Would recommend this location.
