Slightly more expensive, but extremely well kept and managed. Nice wide spaces between campers. Close to ferry to old Quebec, and they supply a free shuttle to take you to the ferry and pick you up. Very friendly, run by a family. Grandma even cooks in the onsite restaurant!

Camping Transit was used as a stop over on the way to PEI. Staff was exceptionally dedicated to customer service - very warm, friendly and helpful getting us to our site and set up. Restaurant on site - lots of choices - their pizza was very good. Would consider location for a multi-day stay on a future trip

We spent the past 2 weeks touring Quebec and ended up, by chance, at Camping Transit using out Passport America Membership. At half the usual price per night this was a perfect location for touring Quebec City. The sites wer large and level. The owner was very helpful and happily present and accommodating throughout our stay. We ran into another... More

We stopped here on our way from Ontario to the East coast. We decided to try the park out as it was right off the highway and about the halfway point of our drive. For what we needed the park for it was perfect. We ended up booking a spot to stay on the way home as well. The facilities... More

The owners will take you to Levis ferry in the morning, so no need to drive around in your RV looking for a place to park! Excellent service, and the campsite is not bad either. Good pool, small take-out, large spaces. Owner changed. New management very good. Ignore older reviews (2013)!!

The campground is located next to the Trans Canadian Highway BUT that is the only drawback. A drawback we were informed of when we made the reservation. That speaks volumes to me. The place is run by people who love what they do and it shows. The best part is the free shuttle to the Ferry to check out Quebec... More

We spent 2 nights at Camping Transit as it appeared to be the closest RV park to Québec City. The campground has over 200 sites, with a large number being seasonals. The grounds are well kept and sites are level. About half of the sites are pull-through and each site has a picnic table and firepit. The campground offers a... More

This was our first attempt at a private campground (we usually go to provincial campgrounds) - and it may be our last. Sites were crammed together, which we knew they would be, but one thing you can't see when booking online is that there is a pig farm just down the road! The stench was overpowering when we arrived late... More

FREE shuttle to and from Quebec City ferry. Ferry leaves every 1/2 hr. I understand it is under new ownership and these new owners really want to please. Speak pretty good English go out of their way to please. Good WIFI that you pay for. $1.50 per day discounts for longer stays. We stayed a couple more days and they... More

We would rate Camping Transit as one of the best in Canada. The location is perfect for visiting the city. The new owners are awesome and try to please in every way. They offer free shuttle service to the ferry...and are there to pick up on return. The sites are level and lots of room between. Bathrooms are huge and... More
