This place has everything - you will never need to leave! The rooms were nice and the bar overlooking the curling area was amazing! Restaurants, Pool, Bar and Meeting Rooms. Great location and pleasant employees. The food in the bar overlooking the curling area was great. The nachos were huge. They did not have Bud Light but oh, well! Very... More

This is a very niche hotel. Inside is a 8 lane curling rink off to one side. The main atrium extends the length of the hotel with the rooms doors open to the view of the garden area within. An interesting addition is that, while at the upper lounge/pub style restaurant, you can view the curling rink within much like... More

The room smelt like mold, extension cords running along the walls super out dated. The washroom wasn't properly cleaned. Was gross! Kids kept running down the halls & knocking on the door, ended up leaving the first night & got my money back.

Room was not ready upon arrival at 6pm, yet told it would be by 3pm. Stood in line for 15 minutes to check in. Paid for room, filled out information, ticked off express check out, keys issued but kept at front desk until we could return (so as not to have to stand in line again at 10pm) as we... More

The portage la prairie Canadinns is really nice. I grew up in portage and went there a lot. Went to Aaltos (the restaurant) and for my dads Christmas parties. It is a very nice hotel. Lots of free parking available. A little pricey but I would say it's worth it.

The lobby is a unique experience and does present the traveller with something different. Rooms and clean, nothing spectacular but are worth what you pay. The staff are very warm and inviting and make you feel like you are at home. The hallways could use an update but are okay, It is a little pricey but good.

We stayed for two nights in a King Suite. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom could use a bit of a updating, but was still ok. The room was great for a good nights sleep, nice and dark, and very quite. Check in was smooth and easy. The kids loved the pool and waterslide and had a great... More

I specifically reserved this hotel for my children and I on our way back from a 10 day vacation, because of the pool. It was one of the more expensive rooms we were to be staying in on our trip but I didn't mind, as I have 2 sisters who live there, I thought it would be great to see... More

Hello, Thank you for you comments. The hotel policy was not really a change but more of being enforced by Health Regulations. It is for the protection of everyone involved. A lot of hotels are moving to using wrist bands for hotel guests in the pool area. I am glad to hear that the room and beds were comfortable and... More

Our family of 5 stayed at Canad Inn for two nights in a king suite. We enjoyed the layout of the king suite. From the bedroom, you could not hear any noise from the hallway outside our room. Beds were comfortable, room was clean and housekeeping. Maintenance responded within 15 minutes when there was a problem with our room. The... More

Typical decor and amenities for an average older hotel. Staff courteous, friendly and helpful. Not much of a view from any of the rooms. Basic amenities. Great food at restaurant, awesome breakfast buffet including perogies and pickled beets.
