What a treat to find such a lovely surprize along our way. Paul and Terry are truly hospitable. Lovely experience. Highly recommend if you enjoy horses and a farm type experience, and want an amazing breakfast which is included. If you're horse is traveling with you, you can board it there as well :)

We stayed at the Pen-Y-Bryn Farm B&B near Quesnel and truly enjoyed it. The studio suite was comfortable, practical and furnished with a great sense of design. The breakfast was delicious, and incorporated fresh local cherries, with great conversation on the side. The location was great, with beautiful horses, friendly dogs, and a goat with great personality, and all the... More

This B&B is conveniently located just off the highway just out of Quesnel. Nestled in to the foliage of a forest, it is quiet and serene, with fresh air, and no sounds of traffic or modern civilization. It is a step back in time, though there is both cel reception and WIFI :-) We stayed here for 2 nights in... More

This was our first farm stay bed and breakfast and we loved it. The studio suite was perfect, with a very comfortable bed, a large shower in the bathroom, and a nice sitting room. We liked the decor, and enjoyed walking around and seeing the animals. Breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed talking with Rio over breakfast.

We stayed at the Pen-Y-Bryn farm for 1-night in late May ($90/night). The farm is located 20 min S of Quesnel near Kersley, just a few minutes W of Hwy 97. It is a working ranch that specializes in CHAAPS, an educational and therapeutic program that uses horses and dogs to help people with a variety of disabilities. The B&B... More

On our way north to Prince George and stopped in for one night. We were greeted by Paul and one of the dogs and instantly felt at home. Stayed in "Stable Suite" which was lovely. Lots of light and very comfortable setup. Had the opportunity to join Terry, Paul, Jerry & Kirsten for an evening of music and hear about... More

My girlfriend and I rented the Studio Apartment for one night and had a fantastic experience. Everyone was very welcoming, friendly and easy-going. We were greeted by a wide variety of animals including a turkey, goat as well as a cat, dog and horses. The suite itself was very cute and had ample room for two people to relax and... More

Travelling from the coast, we were looking for a place near Quesnel before continuing on to camp at Ten Mile Lake. Using TripAdvisor, we settled on Pen-Y-Bryn, and we were not disappointed! Here you will find a friendly welcome, and interesting hosts. You cannot beat the accommodation, which is separate from the house, or the breakfast, at the main house... More

We showed up late in the evening with no reservations on 2 motorcycles, very tired, and thousands of miles from home. We found Pen-Y-Bryn on TripAdvisor and decided to stop by at the last second. Terry was so kind and gracious even though we arrived unannounced the family made us feel right at home (including the dogs and cat). We... More

We were driving from Vancouver with kids and wanted to break up the driving hours, stop for the night, shop for food in Quesnel before carrying on to our stay in Wells/Barkerville. We found Pen-Y-Bryn Farm on TripAdvisor, and thought it would be a nice (and affordable) place to stop for the night. The farm turned out to be one... More
