We spent two nights here. It's off the beaten track which means fewer tourists ( actually in our two days we saw none!). The cabins have no wifi or tv which is great if, like us, you want to get away from it all for a few days. Accommodation was comfortable and we enjoyed our own log fire in our... More

I think this place is a little heaven on earth. Peaceful surroundings, wonderful scenery, great cabins, lovely hosts and FANTASTIC food! We have been going every year now 4-5 years. Each time gets better and better. I truly cannot wait to visit each year for my annual rest and relaxation!!!! The very best of both worlds!!

What a tremendous place! Overwhelmed by pure nature, spiritual ambiance, true emotions!! Rob, Marilyn & team are such nice people. We've been two Belgian city inhabitants which have discovered another way of life! Impressive and so interesting! Especially, the wood stove evening under the stars and the hot tub under the sun 😀Thanks to Rob for the wonderful hike to... More

The location is truly beautiful, the food is superb, home-cooked and fresh, the owners are friendly and lovely, the trails are beautiful and yours "privately" and the cabins are cosy and homely. We as a family enjoyed this special place in the mountains. Thanks Robert and Marilyn!

I came to discover Cross River by referral of a friend as an excellent venue to host yoga retreats at. Beautiful scenery, excellent accommodations, amazing food and the service was impeccable. It truly surpassed every expectations I had. Whether you're looking for a space to simply escape from the concrete jungle and soak up the beauty that is nature, or... More

Spent 3 nights at Cross River ( 2 adults & 2 little ones), and had another fantastic experience! Wonderful scenery, walks and food. We always feel so welcome when we come, and feel so relaxed that we never want to go home!! I never think it can get any better, but it does! The best place ever.

We spend four nights at the center and enjoyed every moment. Hope to come back. We were off the road and back to nature with no TV, Radio or other thing to distirbe you from being with "Mother earth". OK we could sneak up to a house and have Wi-fi. Wonderful people who really cared about you and we felt... More

This is a wonderful place to connect with nature, relax and spend quiet time, play games, enjoy some scenic hiking and walking, meet interesting people from many parts of the world who are all there for the same reasons, and enjoy excellent meals. Rob and Marilyn are very accommodating hosts. We have been at CRWC for each of the past... More

We spent a few nights with our three young kids (5 and under) recently and loved the experience - we will be back! Having never spent much time in the "wilderness" before, I was both very excited and a little apprehensive, but we were well looked after. The children enjoyed every aspect: their only complaint really was lack of sleep... More

I visited CWC for a 5 days, and I cannot emphasis enough how wonderful the experience was. The centre is located off major tourist hotspots, and presents the opportunity to really experience nature. At close proximity to the kootenay river, the hiking trails and river rafting routes were scenic, yet manageable enough for the family to enjoy. The hospitality shown... More
