Cross River is the stand out memory of our Canadian trip. We opted to explore on our own and Rob's advice and assistance was invaluable. It enabled us to walk for hours without seeing a soul! The views over the Kootenay and Cross Rivers epitomised, the Rockies for us. The

We have just returned from an amazing holiday in Canada. We spent 3 days at Cross River in our beautiful cabin. The beds were so comfortable and the food, cooked by Teresa, was the best food of the holiday. We did a half day hike with Rob and Marilyn to the Kootenay river seeing

Are you pet friendly? We have a small dog
Hi Sherry. Thanks for the inquiry. We take pets into consideration on a case by case basis. It depends on things like what other kinds of groups may be here at the time of your stay, or whether or not others here at the time have any allergies, etc. Let us know what dates you were interested in booking and we will be able to give you more information. Thanks again, Cross River Wilderness Centre management

pet friendly?
We love pets! Because of various allergies and other reasons that come up for our guests sometimes, however, we welcome pets on a case-by-case basis. Let us know when you plan on visiting with your pet, and what kind of stay you're looking for, and we'll see what we can do.

"Accommodation is either in very nice cabins or teepees, depending on your wishes. All cabins are the same and all teepees are the same."
"Might be dark at night, so torch lights will be useful."
"All the cabins are perfect, you cant go wrong!"
"The tipis are a fabulous experience."
"Having a fire right beside you while you are sleeping is something you do not want to miss. I wish I had my own tipi."
