This adorable little lodge in Radium was a pleasant surprise - most places are so busy and noisy, this place is quiet and out of the way, with a great restaurant that serves a hot breakfast. It is walking distance to the hot springs via a beautiful, scenic hike, and walking distance to town. It is a great location off... More

A great place to stay! Clean, comfortable and secluded. Stayed with our grandson for six nights and was offered a free night which we graciously accepted. The owners were friendly and did their utmost to make our stay pleasant. The included breakfasts were excellent!

The hosts are really nice people who went out of their way late at night and very early in the morning to help. The rates are very reasonable and the room was clean The traditional Hungarian meals were a highlight and the view was fantastic over looking the valley and mountains. Breakfast was included and it was the best I've... More

My family stayed there in the middle of August 2015. The place was very clean and quaint. Loved the view! But most of all the food is what suprized us. It was so delicious! The dinner was fabulous and the breakfast was very welcoming. We all felt like queens and kings being served the hot breakfast. No plastic plates or... More

My boyfriend and I stayed unfortunately only one evening (wished we could of spent another night). We had car trouble a little ways away and had to take a cab to the hotel very late. The hotel owners looked at us shocked we took a cab. They said "you should of called us, we would of picked u up!" The... More

Our family (myself, husband and 2 teenage daughters) stayed at this resort in early August 2015. The hotel is clean, but most of the furnishings are from the 70's. Rooms have all the amenities you need (microwave, TV, internet, mini fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron with board) but no little extras like shampoo, body lotions, etc. The view from... More

First of all, I want to tell about our prices. We have a set rate, you booked it on the Internet, you absolutely knew how much you had to pay and what was included. Best Western charges at least $50 more for four people, just called them, and no breakfast is included there, some nights they charge $400. We charge... More

we stayed at this place just last week. The place was very clean and the service provided by the couple running the place was like treating everyone as a family. The lodge is located on top of a hill away from any car noise, so we enjoyed the beautiful view from our balcony and restaurant over looking the town of Radium... More

We decided to take a last-minute vacation and Banff and Canmore were either sold out or outrageously expensive, so we decided to go further west to Radium. This hotel is located at the top of a hill and has excellent views. The rooms are very clean. Those are the two main plusses of this place. The rooms are very outdated... More

My husband booked reservations at the Rocky Mountain Springs lodge. When we arrived the proprietor informed us that he gave our room to a guest who wanted to stay another night. He proceed to book us into a motel and charged us $70.00 more than if we booked the room our selves. The proprietor at the second hotel states he... More

Yes, it was my mistake, I over booked a room, I marked only two nights stay instead of three, so that couple stayed longer, you did not have a room to stay. They were here first, I could not send them away. I arranged an other motel room for you, payed $100 for it, and offered you free breakfast and... More

Overall a pleasant stay. This motel and the Chalet motel are on a little hill above town, not even a mile drive. We enjoyed watching the sunset from our private balcony and being somewhat removed from the sounds of traffic. There are often bighorn sheep along the lane as you drive up or down the hill. Good size fridge with... More

Thank you for writing your review. Yes, I read all the reviews, and want to answer your suggestions. As you mentioned, we have the best location, away from any traffic, the best panoramic view in Radium Hot Springs, hence the web site address is MillionDollarView.ca The balconies are really difficult to climb, only a mountain climber would dare to climb... Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Rocky Mountain Springs Lodge and Citadella Restaurant is situated well above Radium Hot Springs with the BEST view in town. We have panoramic view from every and EACH private balcony, even from the lower floor. Our Hungarian Restaurant is under the motel, with a huge patio, also with a magnificent view and the most delicious meals in an idyllic atmosphere. You can see the Rocky Mountains from everywhere in town, from all the motels, but it is not comparable to our view, just like you see it from an airplane or a bird's eye. Room price includes hot breakfast served in our restaurant with a variety of items to find your favorite one. It is not a buffet, rather a freshly served breakfast made by our Hungarian Chef, just like our dinners. We have an extensive menu for the evening meals, a variety of Hungarian, western and vegetarian dishes. You can watch the sunset while dining or from your private balcony, and the sunrise from your bed if you wish. We have pet friendly and wheelchair accessible suites on the main floor. All rooms have sitting area, new queen beds, new carpets, fridge, microwave and free WIFI. We can provide coffee makers or cattle's in your room.We are located a 1000feet over town by the National Park with all sorts of wildlife frequently walking by. A trail trough the forest starts from our parking lot to the Mineral Hot Springs. We, the owners clean the rooms, so they are spotlessly clean and we serve you in the restaurant as well, very friendly hospitality. ... more   less
