Very unfriendly people , especially women , owner I guess . Banging hard to the door at 10:00 AM and pushing to leaving motel , with angry voice and no nice comments . Rooms dirty and no any air conditions work , water in shower very cold or very hot , nothing between ! No any hair dryer or phone... More

Never came to change the towels. Had to ask more coffee. Lot of insects in the area. Beds are hard, pillows lumpy and flat.sheets on bed outdated. Kitchen old and not up to date. WiFi was hard to stay connected.

This is a lesson to be aware when booking online. We arrived during the evening to find the office closed, with a note advising that they would not be back that day. While deliberating what to do, another three groups who also had bookings joined us. After many calls someone arrived to open the office and with some difficulty rooms... More

We stayed two nights as we were hiking in the Bugaboos and found the property very clean and surprisingly quiet being so close to a highway. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom very clean. The plus is a small patio where you can relax during the day.

We booked here because it offered 2 room cabins. The photos online had us wondering, but the places was in tip top shape. The owner was also informative on the area and it's history, we appreciated that. I would not hesitate to stay again

Run, don't walk across the street for better accommodations. Small & cold: "1 bedroom cabin" was actually 1 small room with a one piece "kitchenette" mini-fridge, 2 burners, small sink within the room. 2 chairs, small table, squeaky bed with rock hard pillows & outdated linens ... we had to bring a blanket in from the car. So small, 1... More

We stayed 2 nights at the Sunset for our anniversary, and for the price we paid the experience was fine, but it wasn't anything spectacular. We booked a "one Queen cabin" which was a small studio-syle room with a park-in-front-of-the-door Motor Inn style. The room was clean and neat, but quite dated, having a small table with two chairs, the... More

After a full day in Calgary, a three hour drive leaves me in need of a good night's sleep. We found just that at the Sunset! These units are Comfortable, clean and reasonably priced. Gracious hosts, Heidi and Darren make you feel at home. We will be back!

I made a reservation at this motel through Booking.com on a Friday afternoon (around noon) to stay Saturday and Sunday night. However, it turned out that I was unable to go to radium for the weekend due to some unforeseen circumstances that came up. So, 5 hours after making the reservation I need to cancel it. In the conformation I... More

We stayed at the Sunset.....as we have many times....and we receive the same awesome service we always get....the family that owns it are super nice and their kids play with ours...they're all very friendly and accommodating. The motel is your typical Mom and Pop and I know they do the best they can with the amount they charge. Not everything... More
