Markham house is located on 3 aces of perfectly landscaped and private property surrounded by giant west cost trees. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfasts were by far the best i have ever had! I would strongly recommend Markham house. The reason for our trip was we were fishing and therefore had some extra needs. The owners of...

We stayed here for five nights and absolutely loved it. Beautiful room, great beds, spotlessly clean, character home. And the grounds were like something out of a picture book. To top that off the full hot breakfasts were fabulous. Bill was an amazing host who bent over backwards to make sure that our needs were taken care of. When the...

I especially enjoyed the exceptional breakfasts each morning that were complete with fresh fruit, home-ade granola, yogurt, tea, baked assortments along with a full plate of hot breakfast. They also made the best...

My husband and I had the great pleasure of spending a week at the Markham House recently. Having never stayed at a B&B before, we were not quite sure what to expect. What a wonderful experience it was! The grounds were so beautiful. We stayed in the Honeysuckle cottage and our accommodations were perfect. Having our own private hot tub...

Where to start... It's hard to stay "local" and have a wonderful experience in November, but Lyall and Sally made it happen for us. After reading all the reviews on TripAdvisor, we jumped all in and reserved the Honeysuckle Cottage for our mini-vacation getaway anniversary trip. We arrived late afternoon in mid-November and when we got there we discovered Markham...

The Honeysuckle Cottage is a wonderful place for a romantic getaway. All the details are there: the external hot tub, the fire and the candles, the nice cosy living room and breakfast table in front of a huge window facing the forest, the cute bedroom full with small details that make it a “home” from the start… Breakfast was delivered...

A beautiful oasis that is close to lots of beaches, sites and of course Victoria. The flower gardens are stunning. The house is large and welcoming with some good choices of clean, comfortable and tasteful rooms. The highlight for me were the breakfasts - YUMMY! The proprietors, Sally and Lyall, are gracious, fun and well informed about the area. I...
