We stayed in this resort during a recent 3-week trip to the US and Canadian west coast. We arrived very late after 30+ hours of travel, and our key was waiting as promised at the check-in office (which had already closed - we had advised...More
Our family stayed at this resort this summer. It was great. The "condo" that we were in was so spacious, it was beyond expectations. We had a private garage where we could store our utility trailer. We had our own private hot tub that was...More

The ski hill closes early April, and the golf courses open up in May generally. The off season is a great time to do some exploring around the area, so long as you are aware that not a lot of attractions are open at this time. Personally, I much prefer hiking the area before the crowds hit. This year, the weather was very warm and resulted in an early start to summer!
The parks are a few hours drive, so as mentioned by other users, it would limit your use if you were to do a day trip from Kimberley.
