If you are on the way from Toronto to Ottawa, Montreal (whatever!, if you are on highway 401) it is absolutely worth to hop on the ferry and in 20 minutes you are there.

Thanks for your question Roger. Howe Island is largely a residential island, we are the only commercial operation. However, we are served by two ferries which operate on demand 24/7 and nearest town, Gananoque Ontario, is approx 10kms where there is a wide selection of restaurants, pubs and stores.
