The Motel de l'Outlet was easy to find as it's on a major route coming into town from south of Magog. The gentleman who greeted us was very friendly and offered tourist information about the town, as well as a map of the area. Check in and check out was efficient and easy. The room was surprisingly clean with updated... More

I decided to go to Magog by myself for 3 days to recharge my batteries and found this place online. Cheapest price ever. What drew me to it was the price, location and the reviews. I arrived there and was not disappointed at ALL. the Reception desk lady was the sweetest. I got room 11. Perfect for 1 person (double... More

We were in Magog at the beginning of October for a three day visit. We picked this motel because the reviewers on this site said it is in walking distance of downtown, and they are right. If you are looking for a fancy five-star hotel, this isn't it, but if you are looking for a reasonable motel close to downtown,... More

This place is quiet, clean and comfortable and a short walk to everything you need in the town. The owner was helpful and we enjoyed staying there after a kind of trying day! We did book ahead and it looked as if it was pretty full when we got there.

We were returning home from a three week motorcycle trip and wanted an inexpensive place to stay for the night. This motel was perfect. It is located about three minutes from the centre of Magog so easy walking distance to restaurants, bars, parks, the water etc. Because it is off the main street it was very quiet. The room was... Top rating is because of location & price. 3 blocks from lake & downtown restaurants & nightlife. Great for exploring wineries, ski resorts & Quebec Eastern Townships. Primary clientele are Canadian tourists from Quebec. Stayed 3 nights, worth the price & convenient to everything.

Not bad for a quick stopover but compared with most motels we have stayed in the room was tiny. The bed was pushed into an alcove and it wasn't easy to get in and out of. Also not a lot of room to open your suitcase and put anything down anywhere. No breakfast either, but plenty of places nearby.

Rooms was clean, not modern. Wifi was a little weak but manageable. Close walk to downtown restaurants and pubs. Easy walk to the park and McDoanlds. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Coffee in the room not very good.

This hotel met our needs nicely. We had an easy check in with the very friendly owner. The room was small, but clean and comfortable. No breakfast here, but MCD's was within a short walk. Nice touch with the front porch to sit on. Internet worked well, and the neighborhood / area was good. Downtown was also within walking distance,... More

We were pleastly surprised by our stay. We slept better than we did in some higher-end hotels. It's nothing luxurious: don't go if you're hoping for a romantic, stay-in-youy-room getaway. But, if you're looking for nothing more than sleep and you don't need anything fancy, this place will do very well. The amenities are nothing regal but they're very reasonable... More
