My family and I booked a trip to Gene's to fish the Norfork River. We had fished other rivers in the area and had a great time. The fishing was not great on the days we were there but thats not gene's fault. What was amazing is the complete lack of customer service and respect. We had been in the... More

First thing to remember this is a fish camp. Not the Ritz! Cabins are well kept clean and stocked with everything you need. Resort area is clean and quiet, parking is a little tight and you might need to call ahead for parking if you are bringing your own boat. We had cabin #5 right in the middle of everything.... More

Clean Room & Grounds. Very laid back atmosphere. Good trout fishing. Boats at the ready for rent. Guides only a phone call away. Trophy kids fishing stream near by. Trout hatchery open to the public near by open during normal business hours. Key is in your pre-reserved room door if you arrive after hours & payment is settled up at... More

Great and relaxing place. Our cabin's deck was right at the river view. We sat on the deck and could see the river and here it gently go rushing by. This is a gray place to stay. The people here are so helpful and so nice. The prices are really good compared to the other places that I have stayed... More

The location is pretty nice being right on the river. We spent 3 days in #20 with a party of 10 people. More than enough space for everyone in bedrooms and living area. The bad part is the walls seem to be paper-thin. You can almost hear everything going on in the next room. Not good if there is a... More

We spent a week at the #7 lodge during early November. The lodge was nicely furnished and easily accommodated the eight guys in our party. We never felt crowded in the lodge and the kitchen was well equipped. The beds, at least the one I slept on, seemed fairly new and was quite comfortable. The only negatives are pretty small....no... Had a wonderful weekend with cousin, her husband, my husband here. The cabin was clean and had a beautiful view of the river. Husband and our cousin went fishing morning, and afternoon and caught more than they ever imagined. We sat on the balcony over the river and just enjoyed the fresh air, views and talking with those in the... More

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights (August 2013) on the tail end of a 10 day vacation. We had stayed for 5 nights prior to that in a house on the white river. So, the one bedroom cabin we rented at Gene's felt small. The kitchen is galley style and had virtually no counter space. However, as we... More

We spent 6 days at Gene's Resort. It was our first time there and it was worth every penny. The cabin was spacious and well equipped. The resort grounds were clean and quiet. The fishing boat dock was great for fishing. Boats were reasonable and plentiful. My wife and I rented one for the day and caught our limits of... More

My wife and I stayed at Gene's four nights (August, 2013) and I must say it was FANTASTIC! The cabin was well furnished and very clean. The grounds were well maintained and the scenery was beautiful. I'm an avid bass fisherman but a novice at angling for trout but the staff at Gene's was informative and helped me with some... More
