We were driving back from Portugal to France and needed a place to stay around Valladolid. After searching online for somewhere not far from the motorway we found this hotel. As others have already said... it's a GEM! The building and rooms are beautiful and a perfect mix of old and new. Dinner was amazing and nothing is too much... More

Booked this small hotel to stay on our way from the ferry at Santander to Portugal. The ferry arrived late so we contacted Enrique to say we would be late...No problem!! Arrived about 9.30pm. Enrique showed us round this beautiful old castle / hotel. it was magnificent. The modern bathrooms blend so well with the old building. The food in... More

The hospederia was hosting a family and friends gathering when we arrived late afternoon on Christmas day: no problem; we were warmly welcomed and given a glass of wine until our suite was readied. Our last stay here of just one night some twelve months previous was memorable and this stay, three times longer, was just as memorable. A couple... More

We stopped here during our honeymoon and our biggest mistake was only staying one night. We had a lovely room with a view over some mountains. The owners and staff were incredibly welcoming and we had delicious dinners (perhaps a bit pricy, but delicious) in the restaurant. The wines that the owners grow were lovely, too.

We stumbled on this sleepy little village and really hit the jackpot. The owner Enrique was charming and very proudly gave us a guided tour of his stately family home which has been sympathetically restored and has been in his family for generations. It was an extra bonus that Enrique is a wine producer and we were fortunate enough to... More

In the middle of a small, sleepy town, Conejo Hospederia seems almost out of place. Yet, one should go out of one's way to experience the warm hospitality, excellent cuisine, and beauty of this restored palace. Enrique and his wife Olga are engaging and warm hosts, and having limited Spanish, my partner and I welcomed their ability to assist us... More

This was a great place to stay to visit the Ribera del Duero and Valladolid. Very nice location in an old monastery. The rooms were very modern and we had a nice tasting dinner with very good wines. We hope we will good to visit again soon for a longer period of time.

We were in a way pampered because we arrived after lunch on a damp day in between the two Christmas / New year holidays and had this beautufully designed and furbished place to ourselves. We were graciously looked after by the owner and his staff on a personal level and were accommodated and fed extremely well. Food of this calibre... More

A small 16C (I think) palace converted into a hotel two years ago by the local wine-owning family business. I get the impression it's the highly-regarded restaurant and function rooms that drive the business; we were the only guests midweek, and Valoria is a very sleepy small town (large village, really - just one other bar). A very friendly welcome... More

This hotel is quite quirky - an internesting building that is kindly restored and cleverly decorated. The staff are very relaxed helpful , the food is great and of course the wine is lovely. Enrique the owner is full of knowledge about the area & pointed us in the direction of really interesting places that one might not discover without... More
