We stayed for one night and the hosts were lovely. The b&b is in a beautiful spot with lots of ruins and nice views. They made a delicious roast dinner for us (there aren't really restaurants nearby) and the hot Irish breakfast was great too. Room was spacious, tidy and bed was comfortable. Would definitely recommend

A great choice of bed and breakfast for those who like peace and quiet. A warm welcome and an offer of dinner on arrival. Good homecooked food and a delightful area to walk around. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here

My family and I had the best time at Castle View House! Peaceful and serene location. Our gracious and welcoming hosts Patricia and Garrett were amazing. They are hard-working, kind, friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed meeting their sweet border collie Rosie. Do not pass up the option for dinner! Patricia cooks a DELICIOUS dinner including vegetables fresh from the...

We had a great experience here. It is very out of the way but worth the drive. Hosts were excellent and breakfast was great. Great hospitality. They offered us dinner for added price and we heard it was great - we wished we had eaten dinner there. It is fairly close to Ballybunion beach and golf course and we went...

Clare. our hosts made us very welcome, served beautiful evening meal and excellent breakfasts. our rooms, while a bit dated, were very clean and warm. Our hosts, Patricia and Garret, were very friendly and kind. Their home was spacious and clean and comfortable. We arrived later one evening (10pm) and met up with other family staying there. Not a problem, very accommodating. Gorgeous views of a beautiful castle!!

We spent three very comfortable nights at Castle View House. Our room was in the front, with a huge picture window, and we were thrilled with the ever-changing panorama that included the castle ruins, the tidal channels of the Shannon, and a great swath of sky. The atmosphere was warm and homey, with Michael as a welcoming and most helpful...

A fantastic location, on an island with view at a 7 century castle ! The kindness of Patricia and Garret, was superb and a good breakfast. These points are unique ! The room was tidy, but it is a 80's decoration, but who cares, if from your room window you have a magnificient view ? Recomend it !
