I really want to advise travelers who consider lodging in Had farang bungalow. PASS your WAY ! It hast been the worst reception I have ever seen in the world! We booked 5 nights by phone ( okay, by phone...) for a superior bungalow and when we arrived the receptionist told us that he has no room available since We... More

Stayed 4 nights in Koh Muk at Had Farang in a superior bungalow since we read from other reviews that the standard bamboo bangalows are quite bad. The room was big, with A/C and fan, big balcony, ok shower (no hot water but who needs it in the tropical temperature). Best bed ever, so big and comfy, slept so good!... More

Stayed here two nights and it was fine. The bungalows are cute and reasonably comfortable. One of the nights the bathroom really started to smell bad, but eventually went away. There is a sprayer outside so you can rinse the sand off of your feet after you come from the beach. It's not as close to the beach as I... More

The cheaper bungalows (which we stayed in) are pretty basic and a little rough around the edges. A bedroom and shower room (cold water) with mosquito net but the bungalow and nets are definitely not mosquito proof. The staff are very friendly and helpful and will supply you with mosquito coils. Electricity in the bungalows is on 24hrs. It's difficult... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. Originally we booked a fan bungalow but it was extremely warm inside. The staff were really helpful - moved us to a slightly larger room with a better fan. We moved to an air con room the next day which was well worth the extra money. Beach is 3 minutes away. Hilltop restaurant is... More

I stayed her for 2 nights 29th & 30th November. The property is right behind Charlie Beach the best one on the island. I choose a standard room with fan and shared bathroom. It had twin beds and mosquito nets. There was a blanket and towel for use also. The room was clean and the shower rooms and sinks were... More

I really enjoyed my stay, and stayed on much longer than planned initially. The location of Had Farang in the jungle was relaxing and quiet. I got to know the staff and they were generally kind and pleasant. Whit was very helpful and a good host. There was initially a smelly water problem, but after the water tank was cleaned... More

We stayed in one of the cheapest rooms you could get minus camping. The bathrooms were separate to the rooms and shared with the couple of rooms next to you. The beds were clean and comfy. Mosquitos between five and seven pm were a nightmare but what do you expect! The restaurant food is simple but the smoothies were great.... More

Spent 4 nights here in early May. Booked through PJ in Trang. Although the weather was mostly fine (just a couple of overnight storms), the season has already ended. Most places were closed or empty, and I had the beach pretty much to myself each day. Great elevated restaurant on one corner of the beach which was brilliant to chill... More

Very good stay . Located 5 minutes from the beach . Rooms are decent price and what you would expect for a wooden bungalow. Staff are really good and help you with anything. Food is cheap and good quality.
