We stayed here in August and this campsite is one of the most amazingly scenic places we have ever stayed - the pitches to choose from are either across an alpine meadow or, as we chose, in terraces heading up towards the base of the glacier. The views are absolutely stunning - every direction and hour of the day highlights... More

I stayed here during my TMB trek and it was just what we needed. Nice campsite with plenty of room. Good showers with hot water which is what you want after a long day trekking. Excellent views too. Would definitely recommend and visit again

Arrived in the dark, had seen the photos and spent plenty of time in the Alps, but the next morning I got up around 6 for an early trip to the loo. I'm not allowed use inappropriate language in a review but JFC, when I opened the caravan door and saw/heard/smelled/felt the glacier and valley in front of me I... More

Our first trip to Switzerland and WOW. We were camping for 2 weeks here and chose a secluded pitch near the river. We could see the ski lifts, the mountains and the glacier, truly beautiful. We had every type of weather imaginable which just added to the varying views of the mountains. Although it was the last week of June... More

Not to say that closer doesn't exist, but I haven't yet come across any other campground that is so spread out and allows you a small degree of privacy. We arrived around midday and were able to pick our pitch from among dozens that were available (after having already reserved a different one) - I can't remember the number anymore,... More

We stayed here for three weeks during a driving tour of the Alps. By far this was my favourite campsite. The scenery is just breathtaking, with the campsite nestling right in the crook of the mountains, rivers running down both sides and the glacier glistening above. Pitches are a good size and we were given a choice of many. We... More

Stopped here on our TMB trek. It's a lovely campsite with plenty of facilities for the tired trekker, including showers that are limitless and nice and hot. Without a doubt the best thing about this site is the view of the glacier. The campsite was well spaced out while we were there so it did not feel at all crowded.... More

I slept in all kinds of accommodation during my hike of the TMB and this was BY FAR my favorite spot. Situated in a beautiful valley close to the trail, this site boasts immaculately maintained facilities and gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains. The woman working reception was extremely accommodating and had a great knowledge of the area. She even... More

This was the final stop on my first ever motorhome camping experience. We had already had great experiences in France and Italy, particularly Lake Como, but I'm sure this was my husbands favourite. On arrival the lady at reception said we could park anywhere, all the pitches were large and there was a feeling of space and privacy which I... More

Visited this campsite on a Europe roadtrip back in 2011 with some friends, it is a totally stunning location to camp! there was a landslide down the road and it washed away the only bridge to the site! i was on the other side but in true swiss efficiency a big JCB loader was soon clearing all the rocks and...
