Air conditioning doesn’t work - service was frustrating. Couldn’t get wine at the bar; had to wait to get it from the bistro, told to go to the bistro to get in 15 mins - go in 15 mins and it’s not there but at the bar and it’s warm not cold. Upon our arrival we tried to go to the bistro for dinner and the woman told us no, we had to dine elsewhere. Just felt like there was always a problem - not 5 star service

Hotel's Favorite
My wife and I had the good fortune to return to Domaine De Manville for the 3rd time in the past 7 years. This 5 star rated resort is exactly that, 5 stars that does not disappoint in any way. It is situated in the heart of Provence in a valley just below the beautiful town of Les Baux. It has an 18 hole golf course with 3 restaurants. It is a converted old farmhouse with over 50 rooms. All rooms are very spacious and exquisitely decorated, some having balconies overlooking the pool area with the mountains in the background. Service was amazing with the staff always going out of their way to accommodate and help their guests. We had dinner at their gastronomical restaurant which was an experience in itself. Everything that came out of the kitchen was creatively decorated and full of exquisite flavors. At the end of our meal, we were invited to the kitchen to meet the chef and his amazing staff. A wonderful touch at the end of our dinner. We also dined at their other bistro restaurant on another evening and again, the food and service was exceptional. The bar area is so inviting, as well as the grounds outside around the pool area. We had pre diner drinks every night by the pool to enjoy the beauty and the whole provincial atmosphere. Hotel De Manville is highly recommended.

Our stay at the Domaine de Manville was nothing short of exceptional. A jewel in Provence with great attention to details; from the refined food offerings to the staff and the amenities on site. It was an all-around wonderful experience and we look forward to staying there again during our next visit in France.

Excellent standards maintained. One star michelin food in L'Aupio was superb. Breakfast excellent. Bistrot not as good as last time. Service excellent overall. A real gem and we will be back in 2024. As usual I have run out of superlatives so just typing this to get over the 200 minimum.

Our third visit to Domaine de Manville and first since Covid. The place is as glorious as ever! We arrived forlorn having had our passports, money, credit cards and phone stolen at Marseilles airport ( Beware: serious gang at work there) but the staff could not have been more accommodating. They helped us through the mess and we were then able to reacquaint ourselves with this small golf hotel perfect for couples who like peace and quiet, wonderful food and ambiance with a Je ne sais quoi! Top marks to the chef who made us kosher fleishik meals. To the concierge who couldn’t be kinder. To Alexandra who took care of us! The golf course has been updated with a new golf bar and restaurant. The pool is as serene as ever with new chairs to sit actually amongst the trees. We will be back!!! Merci beaucoup. X

We absolutely loved our stay at the Domaine de Manville. Our family of 4 (with 2 young boys), we stayed 8 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. We loved staying on property (restaurants, pools, golf, kids club) and also exploring the region. Above all though the staff was exceptional. We know many of them by name (Julie, Manon, Gaël, Alexande, David, Bruno - and especially Matteo - they were all excellent). We felt like we were at home and will definitely return.

Domaine de Manville in Les Baux-de-Provence is an incredible resort. I loved everything about it, from the hotel’s architecture to the spaciousness/comfort of the Villas. It was great to be provided golf carts to guests. Food was expertly made by chefs and service was A+. Concierge desk did amazing to arrange Tennis for me & get us all the restaurant/transport reservations. I can’t wait to be back here again.

Our family stayed for 8 nights at Domaine de Manville. Overall we enjoyed a pleasant stay, but not everything was 100% satisfactory which should be the case if you have booked a 5 Star-Standard at a high end daily room rate. Although we parked our car right in front of the reception upon arrival, no one stepped out to greet us (staff was present inside the glazed lobby). Despite the long journey, no welcome drink or refreshment was served during Check-in. Throughout our 8 nights stay, not one single time someone from the hotel management/General Manager introduced themselves to us and/or inquired about our well-being. We did not feel any personal touch being extended towards us from the hotel management or its senior staff. The breakfast was really disappointing. You cannot score points with the guest only with an oversupply of bakery products (Simple principle: Class instead of mass). Instead, one should rely on diversity and variants), especially with fresh products such as fruits and others; but not 1 daily bowl carrying (not fresh) mixed fruits with the quality of convenience food ! Daily individual egg dishes are not included in the breakfast rate (€ 35 per 1 adult), which seems disproportionate. The air in the orangery is stuffy and uninviting. The entire service staff speaks only rudimentary English, if at all. We weren't even asked even ONE TIME during our whole stay if we would like to place a 2nd drink order for coffee, tea, or similar. WE had to chase the service staff instead. During breakfast, lunch was set and tablecloths were ironed next to our table (every day!) instead of keeping the lunch arrangements for later while giving priority to the needs of the hotel guests who were having breakfast until the official set time 10:30am, trying to enjoy the "peaceful" courtyard environment. Such standards needs to be improved, or the daily room rate has to be reduced in order to lower customer expectations! However, our experience in this hotel should not sound too negative. Special thanks go out to the concierge team led by Gaël, who did a great job with great commitment both in the run-up to our trip as well as during our stay. With a little bit of fine-tuning here and there, it would remain an attractive choice for a stay in Provence.

We truly appreciate your feedback and are grateful for the time you took to share your thoughts. We are delighted to hear that overall you had a pleasant stay with us. However, we also acknowledge your concerns regarding certain aspects that did not meet your expectations. Please accept our heartfelt apologies for any inconvenience caused during your time with us. We apologize for the lack of a warm greeting upon your arrival and the absence of a welcome drink or refreshment during check-in. Rest assured that we take your feedback seriously, and we will address this with our staff to ensure a more personalized and welcoming experience for our guests, as we usually do. Your comments regarding the breakfast are duly noted. We understand the importance of offering a diverse and fresh selection of products, and we will review our offerings to improve the overall breakfast experience for our guests. We are committed to improving our staff's language skills to better assist and communicate with our international guests. We offer English courses to our employees to facilitate their language learning. We are pleased to hear that the concierge team, especially Gaël, provided excellent service and made a positive impact on your stay. Your valuable feedback gives us the opportunity to refine our services and facilities further. We genuinely appreciate your constructive criticism, as it helps us maintain our commitment to excellence and continuously improve our guest experience. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back in the future and offer you an even more enjoyable and memorable stay. Stayed 2 nights with my family and had a wonderful time. We booked via World of Hyatt, and as a Globalist were treated to an upgraded room and free breakfast for 2 of our party of 3. The grounds are stunning and building is unique and beautiful. It is minutes from both the mountain village/castle ruins and the town. The breakfast buffet was top notch and we had dinner at the Bistro, which was excellent and high quality. The staff was also extremely helpful and friendly! Would highly recommend for a luxury escape in an amazing region.

Excellent facility near to Les Beaux. I would recommend this for a restful break. The restaurants are excellent and the prices reasonable for what's on offer. The villas are very good for a family or 2-3 couples, very spacious and good value for money in the light of space and quality. This was our second visit and we'll be back!
