My wife and I picked this place at random while returning from the north end of Vancouver Island. We travel with a pop up Chalet Aliner. It was listed separately on our GPS as Ripple Rock RV Park so I've submitted a duplicate review under that name as well. PROS: 1. The woman who checked us in was efficient and... More

We are in the Ripple Rock RV Park associated with this resort and Love it here. Spectacular views, fishing, whale watching from your site, cruise ships pass close enough you can hear the music, great floating restaurant (The Narrows) etc etc. They also have cabins and fabric "glamping" structures that all share the same amenities. It's our second time here and... More

Very peaceful location, a quiet marina. The road in is gravel so a little hard on the tires. The view is stunning. We visited a boat in the marina and thought it was one of the more lovely locations in the area.

We visited the place in a motor home and must say that it is one of the most beautiful places we have been. The view from our RV was indescribable , we saw several large cruise ships and humpback whales from the camping area. It is possible to get out and fish from the small harbor , it's expensive but... Stayed in a waterfront cabin. Beautiful cabin with lovely balcony that looked straight onto the sea. Had all of the amenities we needed. Whales swam past the veranda - magic! Great dugness crab at the marina restaurant.

We spent most of the summer here on a waterfront pad. It was fairly spacious, but had zero shade or privacy. Being in the longterm section, we were annoyed with the constant revolving campers in the 2 sites next to us. The friendly ones we could handle, but the grouchy old bast**ds we could do without. This is a family... More

My husband and I just spent 4 fabulous days rv'ing at Browns Bay. It's a 5 star resort in our mind. We camped on the upper level and were treated to ever changing scenery all day long. We saw humpback whales in the day time along with marine traffic up and down coast and cruise ships at nite. Resort staff... More

We were lucky to get a few days at this wonderful resort as it's usually booked solid. We managed to get 3 days then extend by another 2 and what a paradise it is. Based near the narrows we had great weather and fantastic views of the tide, watching the whirlpools and eddies rising and falling with whales, Hump back,and... More

We stated here 13 days with our 5th wheel trailer. Poor WiFi. Nice views of bay if no trees in your site's way. Wasps need to be dealt with! Nice, new, clean facilities. Hot tub is great with whale and cruise ship watching views. RV sites have screwed up utility placings (we had to buy an electrical extension). Had to... More

his park could be very good with a little work. Though it had some problems for us, others might like it. You REALLY need to be prepared with food and drink! The park is 4 1/2km down a steep gravel road! Go Slow and watch out for sport fishers, they tend to drive really fast up and down the road.... More
