Welcome to Brown's Bay Resort just North of the Seymour Narrows! Immerse yourself in Nature and connect with the great outdoors on the rugged East Coast of Vancouver Island. Decompress from the daily hustle and bustle and unwind from it all, while taking in the beautiful ocean scenery. Put your feet up and reconnect with the calm waters of the inside passage. Watch as marine traffic makes it’s way to and from Alaska and glides by effortlessly on their long journey ahead. Amongst the tug boats, fishing vessels and pleasure crafts passing through this corridor, wildlife of all sorts travel these waters to connect to their fishing and mating grounds. Whales, dolphins, sea lions and seals are amongst the many inhabitants we share this majestic backyard with. The splash outside the the window, the sounds of spouting water, the high screeching noises above, keep your camera ready to capture and create the moment of a lifetime!

The drive down to resort is a tad bumpy and the sheer drops for the passenger are a little 😱but the views are well worth it! We were there in the fall so apart from a few long term stay RV’s we basically at the whole park to ourselves and wow! The bald eagles, the seals, the Mountain View’s , the sunsets and sunrise and the huge fire pit ( logs were free a lovely touch!) where we ate our steak dinner we cooked in RV , watching the stars in the clear sky…. Strongly recommend

Great until it Wasn’t - What a great RV site but for the high price that is what it should be. We stayed here twice. Unfortunately the second time was the month of October when the services were cut short. The hot tub, which was one of the draws was shut off part way through the month and then the washrooms near our site were closed next. The clubhouse was unheated except for a wood stove which did not fully heat the space. The office hours decreased so we could not bring up our concerns. It seems they were closing things down early as part of their seasons end. This was not disclosed to us and we ended up paying full price for partial service. Not acceptable!!

We stayed in one of the Cliffside glamping tents - wow! The views were amazing and we sat for ages looking out over the water; we sat eagles, seals and sure we saw whales in the distance. The facilities were clean and well kept; as a glamping tent we used the main washrooms which were clean and plenty of hot water. Bed was comfy and the tent equipped with blankets etc to keep warm and cosy. My only advice would be to bring mosquito spray or even think about getting a mosquito net from the Canada Tire in Campbell River as I did get bitten quite a bit, although is to be expected given the location and by water. The restaurant was really good and large and tasty portions. We also made use of the BBQ one night.

There’s an upper and a lower section for RV hook-ups, all on flat concrete pads with picnic table. Some campsites and “glamping” rental. The dockside restaurant pub is excellent. We appreciated the super clean facilities (maybe a bit more counter space in washroom/shower could be handy) and the shared full sized freezer on the upper RV area for storing ice and fish.

This is really a harbor for fishermen. We stayed for a very expensive two nights in a houseboat. Sounds like fun but it was docked on the pathway to the fishing office, with a view of the parking lot. Such a pretty location to look at a parking lot! We waited an hour and a half for our food the first night at the restaurant. The second night was much better. If you are a fisherman, this could be good place. If not, stay in Campbell river!

located approx 6 miles down a pot hole gravel road. the RV Park has absolutely no privacy at all, especially when you are parked awning to awning in the very tight space provided. bring long cords/hoses. you are going to need them. somewhat spoiled by the territorial live in campers with all their pots/plants/ornaments/bird feeders/lawn art/lights and decorations. wifi is the typical park offering. sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. dog leash policy is not enforced. staff speeding by on the golf carts did not seem to care about the off leash dogs constantly running in front of the motorhomes or wandering the parking lot. clean washrooms/showers/clubhouse lovely view. nice restaurant on the dock.

Staying at Brown's Bay was my favorite stay not only while touring around Vancouver Island, but probably my favorite lodging of any vacation! First of all, the staff (Taylor!) were all amazing and helpful and friendly. The people around the marina were also friendly and it felt like a community. The restaurant was very good with very nice staff as well. We had reserved the floating suite and while I admit to being a little nervous about that at first, it turned out to be so special and amazing. There was a very gentle swaying at times, but it was not constant - it was all good. I slept like a baby. The suite itself was spacious, sparkling clean, and extremely well appointed with everything you could need. The balcony was the true gem. I really would have been happy to sit there for our entire stay. There was usually something interesting and wonderful to see -- like orcas and cruise ships passing by -- but there was also a lot of just peace and quiet and beautiful scenery. It was a perfect blend of adventure and calmness, with the convenience of a restaurant next door, and I really did not want to leave. We loved everything about this place and I would return to the island, if possible, just to stay here again.

We recently stayed at the Brown' Bay Resort in one of their cabins, It was amazing! The cabin is very well done and has everything you would need. We especially liked the loft. The cabin was very clean. The staff we met, Julia, Susan, Ren and the ladies who cleaned the cabins were all very friendly and helpful. We appreciated Julia's attention to detail regarding our reservation. I highly recommend this resort. We have already booked for a return trip!
