Our cabin wasn't just clean - it was spotless! Truly one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed. The cabin was intelligently designed with an excellent kitchen with a full sized fridge & stove (plus dishwasher of course) for those self catering meals. The bathroom is huge with both a shower and a soaker tub. There is a good sized dining table and comfortable living room. There was also a big closet for storing our suitcases while visiting. The bed was right not too firm-not too soft level. The hot tub was wonderful. The RV section of the park is pet friendly. Don't know about the cabins. The only thing that needs attention is the reclining chair in the living. It has seen better days and offers little comfort now. Plus a few wall hooks inside the door and bedroom would make staying tidy a little easier.…

Park is handy for town and restaurants. Bathroom facilities are ok but you have to pay extra for showers despite key code lock. Similarly Wi-Fi is good but also have to pay extra. This is our first Canadian experience where we have had to pay extra. We can’t complain about the facilities, they were fine but the reception was the least welcoming we have experienced so far.

We returned to the RV park in early September. Clear skies; no wind; the Tyee Club fishers every evening. Cruise ships passing by, both north and southbound. We were given an RV site facing west - towards the Campbell River; several spectacular sunsets to the west during our 5-night stay. We travelled to the lower Mara Falls for a day trip. Great drive; an interesting road trip. We will return to Thunderbird RV in 2023. Well-kept RV park; close to everything for both walking or biking.

Very clean, well-run RV park. Staff was friendly and helpful. Showers and bathrooms were clean. We got upgraded internet which worked well. Close to beach, walking paths, and shops. Some noise from nearby road. Sites are close together with no shrubs or trees for privacy.

Very helpful staff. The property is very close to downtown and shopping. Our friends rented a cabin for 3 nights in September. Beautiful cabin size and decor, with a very good view of the Campbell River. We will return.

We stayed there for a month. CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN. The washrooms and showers were spotless, same with the laundry room. Excellent WIFI. Location was good as we could walk pretty well anywhere. If there was one knock, it was the snarly office person. Everyone else was awesome.

Nothing special about this place. If you like condo style camping, sure. Nothing really around to do. It’s ok if you are doing a stopover, but definitely not vacation style. Also, they allow dogs... BUT! Not bully breeds. Very disappointed. Would not return.

My husband, son and I stayed at this place for two nights. The cottages are air conditioned, super clean and comfortable with a hot tub. Full kitchen, two clean bathrooms and a soaker tub, two TVs, a table for eating. The people were friendly and helpful. Amazing experience!!!

Our family of four had a great stay in a two bedroom cabin. The cabins are beautiful and very well equipped for a family. The staff were welcoming and everything was cleaned very well. The location is fantastic, within minutes of the beach were we had beach fires and watched the Tyee fisherman each night. Highly recommend the location and look forward to returning soon!
