A very big thank you, and lots of compliments on the rooms and friendly and helpful staff of the Comox Valley Inn. For our very large family reunion. Everyone who stayed was very happy with your service. Big thanks from the Martinson's.

We had high hopes for this hotel based on some positive recent reviews and photos of the renovated rooms. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing overall. We phoned ahead the day of arrival to arrange an early check-in. We advised the front desk clerk what time we would be arriving at the hotel and arrived at the agreed upon time to... More

I was enroute to the northern Vancouver Island and stopped for a night. I judged by the parking lot, almost filled with cars. I made a good decision. The owner was very polite and quick to book me in for a good price. While the building looks old from outside, my room (240) was very much updated. Not only was... More

My very large family stayed here for a week in July 2015. We had 7 or 8 rooms and they were newly renovated. The owners were incredible throughout the booking process and during our stay. We were very well treated here. Our age ranges were 1-72 and we all had a great time, and the kids especially thoroughly enjoyed the... More

I loved this place. Besides being moderately priced, the room was perfect with just enough space. The front desk person was warm and helpful. I especially liked the absence of carpet because I am allergic to just about everything it seems. From between about 8:30-9:30 pm I could hear the people in the room overhead talking and walking around but... More

Thank You for your valuable feedback after staying with us. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. We have selected rooms with laminated flooring as they have become popular. We do our best to accommodate guests and we try to keep our workers on the other end of the property so our guests downstairs are not disturbed. There are a... More

Old but very clean budget hotel. Noisy from traffic & rooms overhead. Pretty blue bath tub needs grab bars. Kitchen needs updating also. We had adjoining rooms which was good for family groups. This hotel was adequate but I probably wouldn't stay there again because of the noise.

I had read some rather negative reviews about this Inn so I had some hesitation and would have left if it was not acceptable. What a surprise! They had given me a suite not just a room for no apparent reason. I still had the budget price. There was a microwave, a fridge, dishes, etc. in the kitchen area. I... More

Decent place to stay for budget price. Smoke alarm not present in room and dust on window sill and fridge. Room was basic, kind of small but fine just to sleep. Second time staying here. Kitchenette rooms are the better way to go

Probably the best of the three budget hotels we visited on this trip. Very nice restaurant on site. Another nice touch - separate wifi routers in each room for better security AND a good signal strength. We had trouble figuring out the heat but that seems to be a required feature of budget hotels. Very clean and well maintained. Fridge,... More

Very basic, only one lamp, no air conditioning, no breakfast.Beds were comfortable though.Bathroom was clean bought found a bottle cap, and some red paper, in a corner by the door. The pool was clean but cool, and so was the hot tub! Probably won't stay there again, but if I had to it wouldn't be a catastrophe. The price was good.
