Colleen and Lyle really know how to run a BnB. Their beautiful home in the hills of Courtenay provides easy access to the delights of the Comox Valley. Clean and Comfortable don't begin to define this fine experience; it's so much more. Every aspect of the visit is looked after from them both. And the breakfasts are to live for.... More

We stayed for 1 night in the B&B but were treated like old friends. The hosts are very friendly, open-minded, and helpful, right away we felt at home. We loved to share travel stories with them and the other guests in the evening and in the morning (the breakfast was delicious by the way). The room was excellent as well... More

We just finished an eleven day exploration of Vancouver Island and chose to use Courtenay/Comox as our base. We feel exceptionally fortunate to have chosen to stay with Colleen and Lyle. We only had to unpack once and they made it our home away from home. The house was spotless, bedroom large and quiet, bed very comfortable and the breakfast... More

Thank you Paul for taking the time to write a review. Through your travels on Vancouver Island you reminded me of places that I had not been to for awhile and now look forward to travel back to. So much to see in this corner of the world. More

We were in town visiting friends and had the perfect stay with Coleen, Lyle and Rafiki. We had everything we needed (plus things we didn't even realise we needed!) thanks to our thoughtful hosts. The place was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfy and our breakfast was endless and delicious. It was just what we needed. Thank you!

We have always felt welcome at Torries B&B, originally recommended from family in Saskatchewan. Over the past 3 years we have stayed at Torries B&B seven times as we continue to search for the ideal retirement home in the beautiful Comox Valley. We always feel welcome which reflects Colleen, Lyle and Raffiki's generous hospitality and kindness that radiates from the... More

This is a great location to stay at if you venture into the Comox Valley. My wife and I have stayed here on a number of occasions and have always been impressed with the hospitality of the Torrie's. Collene will go out of her way to ensure that you have a breakfast that will enlighten your palate and Lyle is... More

I cannot find a single bad thing to say about this B&B. Great hospitality, delicious food, and impeccable accommodations. It felt like home, only better! The mini fridge is always a nice touch. It is in a quiet neighbourhood which is great. Highly recommend it.

No need to be verbose: The private rooms and common rooms were clean, very comfortable and quiet. The bed was comfy. The breakfasts were excellent -- and varied from day to day according to our wishes. Colleen and Lyle were friendly and provided fine service. The dog was fine company, too. Lots of hot water. Highly recommended.

An excellent, quiet, spacious, well-equipped, ultra-clean, and air-conditioned suite, with cleanliness, service & flexibility above expectations. Our hosts Colleen & Lyle were helpful and super-flexible - as well as interested in our travels - and could share some of their own! Breakfasts were made to order, and very tasty. We had the offer of TV room, use of back yard... More
