Went to the Island to visit with family and decided to book in to a B and B. We had never done that before but we are very glad that we did. Colleen and Lyle are great hosts. The breakfast we got each day was excellent and it was a pleasure visiting with our hosts and their other guests.

Colleen and Lyle really know how to run a BnB. Their beautiful home in the hills of Courtenay provides easy access to the delights of the Comox Valley. Clean and Comfortable don't begin to define this fine experience; it's so much more. Every aspect of the visit is looked after from them both. And the breakfasts are to live for.... More

We stayed for 1 night in the B&B but were treated like old friends. The hosts are very friendly, open-minded, and helpful, right away we felt at home. We loved to share travel stories with them and the other guests in the evening and in the morning (the breakfast was delicious by the way). The room was excellent as well... More

We just finished an eleven day exploration of Vancouver Island and chose to use Courtenay/Comox as our base. We feel exceptionally fortunate to have chosen to stay with Colleen and Lyle. We only had to unpack once and they made it our home away from home. The house was spotless, bedroom large and quiet, bed very comfortable and the breakfast... More

We were in town visiting friends and had the perfect stay with Coleen, Lyle and Rafiki. We had everything we needed (plus things we didn't even realise we needed!) thanks to our thoughtful hosts. The place was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfy and our breakfast was endless and delicious. It was just what we needed. Thank you!

Over the past 3 years we have stayed at Torries B&B seven times as we continue to search for the ideal retirement home in the beautiful Comox Valley. We always feel welcome which reflects Colleen, Lyle and Raffiki's generous hospitality and kindness that radiates from the... More

I cannot find a single bad thing to say about this B&B. Great hospitality, delicious food, and impeccable accommodations. It felt like home, only better! The mini fridge is always a nice touch. It is in a quiet neighbourhood which is great. Highly recommend it.

No need to be verbose: The private rooms and common rooms were clean, very comfortable and quiet. The bed was comfy. The breakfasts were excellent -- and varied from day to day according to our wishes. Colleen and Lyle were friendly and provided fine service. The dog was fine company, too. Lots of hot water. Highly recommended.
