My wife and I have stayed in a lot of places (hotels and B&Bs) all over the world, and this is without doubt the best place we have ever stayed in. The lodge is absolutely stunning inside and out, and is set in a beautiful location. But what really makes this place special is just how homely it feels. Jeannie... More

The best B&B we have stayed in. Jeanie does a fantastic job. Loved the location out in the woods. A great homely atmosphere, and Jeanie was very welcoming. Breakfast was amazing and I love the way it was served, at the one time, everyone together at a big table - great talking with all the other guests about their travels... More

The Kicking Horse River Canyon B&B is one of the best places we've ever stayed. Our host Jeannie is just as lovely as the whole place. After a warm welcome from Jeannie and her lovely dog Jenny she showed is around to her pretty B&B with two large comfortable living rooms and a nice kitchen to share with the other... More

Stayed here on a trip from Edmonton to Vancouver. Jeanie was so welcoming and even though we woke her at 10pm to check us in, she did it with a smile and a welcome. Her lovely dog Jessie even helped carry one of our jackets to the lodge for us. 😅. The beds were incredibly comfortable and I slept like... More

A beautiful property in a stunning location with a charming welcome from the owner who made you feel like part of the family. Cannot fault the rustic accommodation or the excellent breakfast - did not want to leave. All topped off with a hot tub and amazing mountain views. 10/10

This B&B was perfect! Don't miss out on an exceptional hidden gem, just outside of Golden. A quick drive into town is well worth being away from the hustle of the train in town. This quiet, serene has the best hostess in B.C The breakfast were so substantial and the hostess even made us reservations each of the four nights... More

This beautiful log cabin B&B is just minutes from downtown Golden, but feels like you are really out in the "back country," with every amenity you could want. The beautiful stillness that surrounds you is always breathtaking and the cosy lodgings are most comfortable and quiet. The ambiance exudes mountain and railway culture with photos, artwork and informative books galore.... More

During our trip to Lake Louise, we decided to try something we had not done before and that was try a stay in a B & B. What a wonderful experience this was! This was very easy to find from the good signage in Golden and it has a very nice setting back among the trees and away from the... More

We loved our stay in this large log cabin, that looks across the valley toward the mountains. It's only ten minutes drive into Golden, but it feels as if it's in the wilderness. Our hostess, Jeannie, was so warm and welcoming she made us feel right at home. We stayed in two different rooms (just the way it worked out):... More

I don't stay in B&Bs - this one is the exception. Jeannie is a genuine hostess who provides hospitality reminiscent of days gone by. The "home away from home" provides an opportunity to visit with the rest of the guests or enjoy the property away from them. The family-style breakfast is exceptional. Stay longer than one night to enjoy the... More
