The Park Motel is located in the heart of Hope, just around the corner from shops, restaurants, and town park. Denise was super friendly and helpful and clearly takes the running of the Motel very seriously insofar as the professionalism she demonstrates. Our room was well equipped, albeit a little dated. The room was clean and comfortable. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
A lovely place, reasonably priced and with the friendliest manager, Denise! We arrived to smiles and welcomes and she had already upgraded our room. We are passing through on a cross Canada road trip - we lucked out here!
Once again, this is a great motel. The owner is a lovely lady, helpful and friendly always. The beds are so comfy and pillows also. Eateries are within a short walk, and you have the choice of ground floor or first floor rooms. Soda pop is in the fridge in reception for $1 .
Flying in to Vancouver airport on 19 December 2019 around 9.30pm, I was due to drive to Kamloops to get home. Severe weather advisories made me decide to stay overnight in Hope before driving home the next day. I booked this hotel in the afternoon that day and when I phoned them to say I would be arriving late, I was told they were closed at 10pm and anyone arriving later would not be allowed in. The woman I spoke to had no intention of being helpful, and was only interested in pointing out that their policy on the booking website stated that check-in was until 10pm only. It does say this, if you're paying attention to all the small print, but nowhere does it say that they will literally not let you in if you arrive later. No idea what the hotel is like, but after the truly dreadful customer 'service', I won't be finding out. A shout-out to priceline.com as well, for also being utterly useless and unhelpful. My first booking with them will also be my last.…
This motel goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. They have pet friendly rooms for a small fee and are across the street from a park. The hotel is in the town center close to great coffee shops and away from the noise of the highway.
