We stayed in Cabin 8, just the two of us. Have passed these cabins countless times driving the Coquihalla but had never visited. We wanted to get away from it all, and this place was perfect. It can get busier in winter with snowmobilers and skiiers, but very quiet in Oct.-Nov. The cabin was super cute, fully-stocked wood for the wood stove which kept us warm during cold -8 nights. The stars were on fire. Most cabins face the lake, and you don't hear the highway when you're inside. All COVID protocols being followed, including contact-less check-in/out. Although there were guests in other cabins, we kept to ourselves so it was very private. Mark and Matt were just a text away if we needed a recommendation or question answered. Lots of great hikes in the area, including the very easy (30 min.) hike to Falls Lake, which was beautiful, a 5 min. drive off the highway on an easy gravel road. To reach a lot of other trails, you really want a 4x4. Even Coldwater Road to Little Douglas Lake was too much for our minivan in wet October, although in summer it's fine. Didn't want to leave, will definitely be back!…
We recently spend a week and what a great location and lodge. Mark, (the owner) and his employees, Mark and Matthew are great people. We stayed in cabin 5, very roomy for the 6 of us. Kitchen is fully stacked with plates, pots, pans and cutlery. Fishing was great as well. We will defiantly return next summer for another family trip. Highly recommended. You will not be disappointed.
Lodge was well equipped, had our own shower and kitchen lake front property with amazing view of the lake. Trout can be seen jumping out of the lake. Matt was super helpful in setting the boat up for us, and provided fishing tips. Pristine lake and healthy fish.
Owner adds a personal touch, he makes sure you are comfortable in the cabins, his staff also shows the same excellent customer service. Cabins are very clean, and well appointed. I would highly recommend this facility to others, prices are reasonable for the service provided. Everything is provided except bedding and food. Including firewood for inside fireplace, bbq with propane, and all dishes and utensils. Excellent hiking trails nearby. We will be back very soon
Another fantastic stay at Coquihalla Lakes Lodge. We were there in June for three nights and stayed for six nights. Cabin was comfy, well appointed with a full kitchen/bathroom/bbq and large deck with amazing lake view. Great outdoors place with so much to do. Lots of birds, saw a bear across the lake, Osprey diving for fish and great fire pits for great campfires. Boat rentals very reasonable, good fishing, great lake for kayaking, firewood available at a very reasonable rate. This is our "Go To" place just 2 hours out of the city. Check it out relaxation, outdoor adventure, unplug and unwind. Mark and his staff are great! Super safe place with immaculant grounds and private comfy cabins. We will be back!
