We drove to Vancouver and the weather was not great. We decided to stop in Revelstoke for the night and chose the Gateway, as I have stayed there in the past when traveling through that area. As usual, the room was clean, it was easy to book online and within budget. What I like about the Gateway is the fact that...

Hubby and I stopped in Revelstoke at the last minute and checked out a couple hotels until we came across the Gateway Inn. The room was tiny, clean and very comfortable also priced well. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at gateway Inn when we travelled to Revelstoke this September. I would not recommend this for families. Backpackers may consider. Consider breakfast as better to be skipped. It is filthy and I personally did not dare have their so called tea from the dirty glass jars provided. Rooms themselves are just OK. 2 rooms of our friends were...

You get the feeling when you walk in that there is a minimum level of amenities and service. But ok, it's more of a motel/inn so it fits. It was clean, the bed was warm and good. That was all I needed that night. I did however wake a few times because it's close to the railway and it rumbles...

The difference between the motel's description and photos were so different from the room I was given that it borders on fraudulent. The room was very old, cramped, and smelled. Do not stay at the Gateway Inn.

The owner (I think) was really friendly when we checked in. Even though the outside looked pretty old, the hotel rooms was actually pretty nice and we did not expect it. Beds were nice, the tv was pretty up to date and the breakfast was really good in the morning. The only problems I had was the noise because the...

A last minute change in plans had me stay, and I was looking for the lowest level that wasn't a dump. I think I found it. Definitely an older place, but clearly the owners care for the place. The room was spotless, and I do mean spotless! Looking past the dated furniture and TV, which was still in good shape,...

Overpriced dirty hotel rooms that didn't match the expectations set by the website. Used soap and food debris from previous guests. Toilet plugged up, sink leaked, no counter. Very basic breakfast. Intermittent wifi. Beds seemed shorter than normal, near a busy railway line. Front desk is not open 24x7. The worst part was when my wife had to leave the...

Without a doubt this was the worst place I ever stayed. Wife spotted a roach of some sort on the floor when we first got into room. Not well kept rooms, extremely dated and worn out furniture. Shower was disgusting with mold and crud from years of not being not being cleaned properly so didn't use it. Breakfast was a...

I booked this accommodation based on other reviews and what the rooms looked like on the website. Talk about false advertising! The room we were assigned was nothing like that pictured. The microwave did not work, the floors were stained, there were broken chairs, a torn table cloth and the box springs on both beds were stained and disgusting. The...
