The room was small but the sheets looked clean and the bed was comfortable. The room had a musty and unpleasant smell. The bathroom only had toilet and sink in it. The shower was in a separate small closet that had no ventilation and it wasn not enough to strech ones arms from "wall to wall"" ( small claustrophobic closet) - the showering needed to be done with the door opened to the room, it was totally schocking and unacceptable. That was room for 2 people. Also we found hair in the "shower closet".The TV was on the side wall of the bed, fixed and not movable so to watch the TV we had to sit on the side of the bed to face the TV. Only one chair in the room so that was not the option. Teribly uncomfortable. Amenitis ( small fridge, coffee maker) were working but the feeling in the room was so uncomfortable that we tried to leave it as fast as possible. The breakfast had a very limited choice and all in all - this was a very depresing experiance and we were hrilled that we only booked for one night. We payed abut $140 and that is tottal rip-off. They should not ever charge more than $80 and even that is more than enough. We left them a written feedback with the details ( they left the form in the room). We also told the employee in the morning about the shower and TV situation and he told us that yeah, this is really not OK but he can not do anything about it. We asked him to talk to the owner and that we believe that we deserve a discount after the room we were put in but nobody ever followed up with us. We understand that this was not an exemption but is a regular situation in this "hotel" and we strongly advise people to think twice before they book it. Thank you.

First impression of entering the office was poor. Decided to try anyhow. We were very disappointed at the room once we saw it.. We found stains on the all fabric chairs upholstery, a rip in the chair cushion, food and a green tomato under the cushion. We found hair and dirt on the bathroom counter, rough and run down furnishings that looked like they were botched together and built by an amateur. Coffee in the jar looked like it was there for the past 30 years as it smelled bad, the jar had a faded hand made label that was sticky and faded attached to it. I was skeptical about having to use coffee that everyone else has direct access to. I do not know it is was contaminated or not. I later went for ice and found the ice machine outside covered in filth and the scoop was missing its handle. No container for ice either. Does this type of ice machine even meet health and safety code? The door mat inside our room was so worn that you could see holes through the pattern that once existed. The laminate flooring was even worn down to base core in one area We were told the room came with breakfast and when we went all there was was cereal, coffee, toast bread products or waffles. Carbs carbs carbs - no eggs, no meat, no fruit or yogurt. Made coffes and sat down. Owner was standing over watching everyone. Not friendly or inviting. We got out of there. What a friggin bad experience. Paid $150 plus tax, should be about $90.00 Good little kitchen, bedding was clean. Bed ok. Quiet.

At first glance this looks like a charming older motel, but beware - once you are assigned your room and you travel around back - it is almost as bad as a garbage dump. There was literally garbage bags and lumber piled outside the door. The external hallways were filthy. There was a coffee maker in the room but no coffee filters - no tea. The room had an odd smell. It appeared clean but... I complained and asked for another room but was told there was no other options. I would avoid this place at all costs. There are cuter and better motels and up in Revelstoke so my advice is to stay away from here!

We stayed here on our 14 night roadtrip round the Canadian Rockies in June 2019. The room we were given was by the road/railway, even though other rooms were empty. It's a motel and the rooms at the front, near reception were quite smart, but the ones 'round the back' were in need of a little TLC. The included breakfast was adequate and the room was just about OK

A comfortable bed is important when you're on the road, and we're glad that we could provide you a good night's sleep. It is unfortunate that your room wasn't quite to your preference, and that breakfast wasn't to your taste. We hear your concerns and will be forwarding them to our team to be considered for future improvement. Should you return to Revelstoke, we hope for another chance to impress you.

This is a nice old-fashioned motel. It is cozy and comfy. The staff are friendly and helpful. The motel is also walking distance to local pubs and some shopping. We have stayed there twice and enjoyed it both times.
