Glacier House is off the Hiway 1 about 10min outside of Revelstoke. We had a medium cabin for a couple nights during the week. Everything is run down a little because of its age but everything was clean. Bed was comfortable. Very good wifi and tv. Complimentary breakfast is pretty basic but not bad. The only down side is it... More

If you stay here, you should probably eat here as it is a distance to Revelstoke - great location and so so food. Rooms in the main lodge are good and mine had a nice balcony overlooking the back of the hotel.

After driving 8 hours on the first night of our honeymoon we arrived at 6pm and were told we didn't have a room despite having our confirmed reservation in hand!! No other rooms were available and were told we had to find something else on our own at 7pm during the peak season. The manager talked to Expedia, where we... More

Hi Mark, We do sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to yourself and your new bride. Although all best efforts are made to accommodate, and I know we tried our best to look into the issue, but although there is some convenience using online booking agents and the like, it certainly pays to call Hotels directly to ensure your booking... First time visit to Revelstoke, we enjoyed this hotel. Nice room, hot tub & pools, and the view from the room is pretty too! We were lucky seeing a three black bear family from our room the next morning! Went to hiking Revelstoke national park, most of the hiking area had been closed by Grizzly Bears!! We still had a... This place is as bad as it gets. We stayed for one night while on a motorcycle trip. Arrived at 4:00 pm, looking forward to relaxing with a cool drink. Nothing open until 5:30 - not even a vending machine where you could get a drink or bag of chips! It's not like you can step out and buy something... More

What a disappointment! Dated and dirty. Arrived at 3 pm on bikes after traveling all day to discover no lounge, no place to get any afternoon or any snacks. There aren't even vending machines. Dining room service at 5:30 - 9:30 that's it! Old and run down. Expensive, and you can't cancel - 7 days out - what a scam... More

Hi, Thank you for your feedback and it is a unfortunate that you were disappointed with our service, although there is a vending machine on the first floor as well as the front desk has snacks available from them directly and the hours of our dining room must comply with our licensing - hence the 5.30pm opening time. Being a... More

The glacier house was perfect for us to stay at and be able to ride our dirt bikes from the resort, not many resorts would allow that! Thank you for being so accommodating for sledders and dirt bike riders. The pool, hot tub and sauna were nice after a long days ride. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The resort could... More

Staff was friendly from check in to check out. Stayed in a nice cabin which had a private hot tub set up on front porch, a great way to enjoy a glass of wine and see the nighttime stars.
