Biggest mistake was to book this hotel thru Expedia, non refundable and a few surprises . We were under impression it was on the main highway 2km from the town. It ended up being 7km up a secluded road in the mountains . Exterior was bit rustic but that was ok. At checkin were told could not eat at the... More

We stayed at the Glacier House Resort for one night and it was awesome. Had dinner at the restaurant and each of us loved our meals (blackened sirloin, salmon, 3 cheese mac & cheese) and enjoyed a pitcher of local Revelstoke beer ...Mt Begbie Lite Lager. Beds were comfortable, room was ultra clean and very spacious. We are already talking... More

Unfortunately it was one event after another of disappointment. My husband, 7 month old, and myself stayed in July and paid over $200 for 1 night. First the pool was closed due to a pump failure. Fine, not the hotels fault although it would have been nice to know from their website upon booking. Next the pop machine was sold... More

Hi there, Thank you so much for your review. We always welcome customer feedback and apologize that your stay did not meet your expectations. Unfortunately, during the summer months we can experience the occasional storm that leads to powder outages across Revelstoke. I am told that this particular storm caused a power outage that lasted across town for a few... More

We had a very nice stay at the glacier house! We could definitely have used more days there. The staff was friendly and the resturant was nice. The spa was nice. Unfortunately the pool was broken which was a bit of a minus. But overall a super good stay!

We stayed for three nights, and on paper it looks fine, but there are some down sides : it is a 10km drive to town, some of the rooms do have tiny showers, like you can find in a caravan, the whole place could use a bit more of maintenance and freshing up, the pool again looks good but is... More

Hi Peter, We are very sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your stay with us as much as you possibly could, and felt that the near by power lines and the distance from the township of Revelstoke detracted from the enjoyment of your visit. We are aware that the power lines are there, but unfortunately we are unable to... More

Don't be fooled by the pictures, we were and a poorer for it. This is a winter resort for snowmobilers. I am assuming their expectations are somewhat lower for paying good money for accommodation. The hotel attempts to pass itself off as a summer destination, it is not. It is at least 5kms from the lake. The rooms are dated... More

Mid-week spring stay at the Glacier House Resort was quiet and tranquil. We were upgraded to a mountain view upon arrival since it wasn't busy. Reception provided us with a map of hikes to do in the area which lead us to exploring a nearby waterfall. That was really neat and something we would have missed out on if staying... More

Everything clean and well cared for, huge bedrooms, well appointed. Very comfortable, must be fun in season. Reception staff very welcoming, gave information about local walks which was appreciated. Great walk to the nearby waterfall.

Just breaking my car journey and stayed a night here. Arrived late afternoon, signed onto good reliable WiFi to catch up on news back home. Then down for a quiet spa, then a relaxing sit on my deck with a view out to mountains, glacier and only a couple of the resorts little cabins, no other man made sights...just nature.... More
