My friend asked me to reccomend a place in Sidney that would be quiet and would accommodate her and her 2 small dogs . She was visiting from Vancouver. Her daughter viewed the website, and was very impressed with the fact that not only did they take her dogs, but during this covid 19 pandemic had very stringent rules for cleanliness and safety of the guests. I visited her and spoke to the manager regarding parking my car. I was met with professional, friendly caring Maryanne who advised me of their rules, over the phone. Also the owners have transformed the flower beds into veggie gardens to supply fresh food to the local food bank up the road . The location is very convenient, across from the beautiful lochside drive pathway for long walks by the sea. Easy walk into Sidney town shops. I definitely would reccomend this place, and I think we may book it as a getaway, when my husband recovers from his surgery,

We have been vacationing at Cedarwood since 2003. Always nice people, clean and comfortable rooms with kitchens and in a great location. We were there in April and may. Looking forward to returning after the lockdown is lifted here in the US.

The motel was very nice and comfortable. The room given to us was spacious and the fittings and furniture were of good quality. The city signs to the motel will lead you away from the motel and was designed by someone who does not drive. The directions that came from the Motel are perfect. The staff should have been asked how to get there, not left to a city planner. The Motel has 2 rows of rooms either side of the car park. A row of cottages is at the top end of the car park. In the middle of the car park is a grassed area for children to play and barbecues. There is a beach area across the road from the motel. This is a nice motel and worth considering if staying in the area.

We loved this place so much we didn't want to leave. Upon checking in we were greeted by Peter who had the best personality ever. The landscape was gorgeous. Our room was very clean and the staff were very sweet and made us feel like we were at home. We most definitely recommend this place.

This is a wonderful clean place to stay! The staff are helpful and friendly! The owners care about their motel as the gardens are amazing and the place looks great! Enjoyed the walking promenade along the water directly across the street! This would be a great location for family reunions, group vacations etc.!
