Nelly and Maarten welcomed us like old friends. Breakfasts were excellent and different every day. Maarten made the bread and Nelly cooked breakfast. Bed very comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. Just outside the town so very quiet.

Great B&B. Our room was on the back, quiet. Room big with an enormous bed. Sofa, 4 piece bathroom set. Tv could have done with being a bigger if you want to watch it in bed. Breakfast was lovely. Couple who run it were very friendly and chatty. It's about 15 mins walk into town.

Everything was great about this place, not too far from anything, super nice owners, well appointed rooms, and super great breakfast My girlfriend and I stayed in the room with two single beds, not large, but very comfortable and clean, nice bathroom.

Friendly, helpful hosts, comfy bed(s) and the food was awesome. Thanks so much to Maarten and Nellie for the lovely end to our vacation. It was a delight to meet them and enjoy their company. They were great in helping us find places for dinner and for directions to tourist sites.

We stayed one night in Truro at Baker's Chest BandB on our way to PEI. It was a lovely and clean BandB. Ellie and Martaan are friendly hosts and very helpful. Best part of the stay was visiting with other travellers over breakfast. Martaan is a baker by trade and all bread is baked on site. Breakfast was excellent and...

On the first evening of a two week B&B tour of the Canadian Maritimes, weary travelers finally made it to the Baker's Chest Tearoom. We were enthusiastically greater by Nelly at the door, shown our rooms and collapsed for the night. The room was very comfortable with no detail left unthought of. Bed was comfortable with charging stations for our...

Stayed here for (unfortunately) only 1 night. The room was large, beautifully furnished, light and airy & the biggest bed we've ever slept in! The breakfast was superb, 4 different breads, fresh fruit salad with natural yogurt, Dutch pancakes & home made jam-yum! Oh and there was a swimming pool in the back garden (yard) The owners made you feel...
