Great little motel for the price! Viewing area of the tidal bore a minute drive from the motel. Very friendly staff. Spacious little room for a couple. Very clean and well kept and quiet. Very close to town - shopping, food, gas, etc. Overall great stay, definitely would stay again!

The two folks who run this place are really great. The room was really clean and quiet and was perfect for sleeping in for one night after staying in amazing BNB's such as Sunshine Hill in Port Hood and as well a lovely place on Bras d'or lake both for multiple nights.

At first we did not plan to see the tidal bore as we saw the one in Moncton. We were glad we did as every tidal bore is different. They are all unique and worth the time to see it at high tide and low tide. Follow the sign to an area that use to be a hotel but now... More

We were hoping to have a decent view of rip tides in Truro but not to be. This motel is definitely a budget establishment. Very thin walls and people outside at all hours talking. Windows had paper and towel s shoved in the screens - to keep bugs out we assumed. Would not recommend.

It's a room. It's not the greatest room so far on my trip but it's clean, has a mini-fridge, microwave and an old CRT TV with cable and free Wifi. There's no air conditioner, but there is a floor fan. It was a cool night so leaving the window open was fine. The directions using the Trip Advisor/Apple Maps app... More

I stayed here several days and had a pleasant stay. The things I liked most were the staff who are both very friendly and nice people. Also the view is nice to sit and have dinner in the chairs and picnic tables or enjoy the sunset and usual breeze overlooking the water . Cons: Inconsistency in rooms. Some bathroom fans... More

We spent 10 days at the Tidal Bore Inn while we looked for permanent residence in Truro. The managers Lisa & Bill are amazing people , very very friendly. Ice machine located in the office was always full of ice , rooms are VERY clean, lots of parking though any motorcycles parked near your room will be quite loud .... More

We stayed at the Tidal Bore Inn because it was on a flyer that had the tidal bore times. Having seen the amazing high and low tides of the Bay of Fundy we thought it would be fun to see a tidal bore. You can probably see it from the property itself, there are even chairs set up, but I... More
