A number of us attended the restaurant recently as part of an local auction item. It entailed a full tasting dinner with all food selections and wines a surprise. Stephen and his staff provided us a fantastic and inventive menu ranging from soup , salad , fish, beef , inhouse cured meat and dessert all paired with a different wine....

When I checked out of a nearby (disgusting) hotel, I was blessed to find availability at the Woodlawn Inn. It was beautiful!! I was so grateful to find it. The room was just lovely. Bathroom and amenities were luxurious, including the heat lamp. Having the fabulous restaurant on site was great for a single woman on business.

I participated in Richard Martin Photography Workshop at the historic Woodlawn Inn in beautiful autumn weather. Stephen, innkeeper, was part of our group. His staff were always friendly and helpful. The inn offered us exceptional lunches and dinners over several days. The chef prepared creative and tasty menus with fresh local produce daily. I would like muffins and croissants added...

I loved everything about The Woodlawn Inn from my spacious room with a small balcony to the consistently delicious food. The Inn is close to the VIA station, making for an easy trip from Toronto, yet I never heard the train from the Inn. All of the staff are helpful and personable. I can't say enough about the food, eat...

I am a bit reluctant to share my experience at the Woodlawn. Call me selfish, I would like to keep this Inn to myself. I guess it is only fair to share. WHAT a Wonderful experience. everything about this Inn was top drawer. Our hosts, Stephen and Marisa and all of their staff were wonderful. The rooms are very clean...

I only had one night in the Cobourg area, beautiful rooms, wonderful, classy dinner service, breakfast included. Small staff, but my index is that everyone there is on a mission to make sure you have a great stay, which they did. Personally, I loved it that the door are still operated by a real key! Please don't change that. 4...

This hotel is locally known for its gourmet kitchen but that's something from the past. It's glory days are over and although the rooms are large and the bed and bathroom excellent, the whole atmosphere feels like something from the past.
