We stayed at Craigleith Manor for our anniversary. Although we were only able to stay for one night, we felt very welcome. Guy did an excellent job of showing us around and to our room, all well maintaining distance and wearing a mask. All surfaces were clean, and everything provided in the room was wrapped and new.

The breakfast was absolutely phenomenal. Ensure you get the Yukon gold potatoes, they live up to all the talk on the menu!!

To get breakfast, we were provided a paper menu in the room, and instructed to fill it out and place it on a table at the bottom of the stairs before 8pm. The menu gave all of the details you would want around allergens, dietary restrictions, and also let you select if you'd like to eat outside on the beautiful deck! The tables on the deck, and in the house are very spaced, making sure you are safely distanced from any other guests.

Overall, in spite of everything happening in the world, this trip felt relatively normal, thanks to the inviting personality of Guy, and the absolutely amazing service! We will look to stay here again, next time we are in Collingwood.

We just returned from a wonderful 2 night stay at Craigleith Manor B&B.

Before booking we did our research, as we were concerned with safety during this difficult time.

No need for concern as this manor is spacious, open, spotless and beautifully furnished.

Our room was super clean, large and tastefully decorated. We stayed in the Mountain room which had its own balcony. The modern bathroom had a heated floor and rain shower. We enjoyed sleeping with the drapes open so we could fall asleep gazing at the stars!!

Our host Guy was friendly and professional and adhered to all PPE regulations at all times which made us feel safe. Our breakfast table was 4 meters from the next table in its own separate area of the manor.

Upon entering the B&B the guest names are written on a board to warmly welcome you and a breakfast menu is provided for you to review in your room. There are plenty of breakfast choices to choose from; recommend the fresh fruit salad, chocolate croissant and any of the scrumptious omelettes.

There are 5 outside comfy seating areas to sit and enjoy a glass of wine. Large parking area and easy access to the Bruce Trail from the property.

We felt super safe and comfortable at this B&B. No worries about bumping into anyone. We are already planning a return visit. Our only recommendation is to book ahead as this place fills up really fast!

Thank you Guy & Craig for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Thanks Diane & Wayne, We really appreciate your stay with us and we're super happy that you felt safe in our B&B. We worked very hard during our months of closure to redesign the layout of the many dining spaces so there is never less than 2.5 metres between any 2 tables. Yes, our outdoor dining was a terrific asset during the summer. We expect to keep up distancing inside this winter as our home is so large we have the space. Thanks again and we look forward to your next visit. Guy & Craig

Every small detail was taken care of, from heated floors, to bottles of prepared drinking water, to wipes for make up removal. There was no need to ask for anything because everything was carefully thought of. I would recommend and plan to bring my parents here. Thank you for a memorable 1st year anniversary celebration for us!

Getting away during a pandemic has its own challenges, but they made us feel very safe. The place was spotless, sanitizer readily available everywhere, masks worn by everyone, shoes removed at the door, they’ve really thought of everything to make sure you feel safe and comfortable during your stay.

Breakfast was amazing, they really go all out, and they were able to accommodate our food allergies/sensitivities.

It’s a little piece of paradise, from access to a walking trail right through their backyard, to the gorgeous Blue Mountains, there’s always something to do and see. We cannot wait to get back!

Despite Covid putting so many restrictions on us, we were able to have the quick winter vacation we so badly needed. We went on a Monday- Wednesday so we ended up having the whole place to ourselves which was great. We were greeted by Guy at the front door, who practiced safe distancing and wore a mask the whole stay. His warm and inviting personality made us relax as soon as we got inside. Our room was bright, comfortable and spacious with a gorgeous view of the Georgian trails. The entire house was immaculately clean and so cozy at the same time. The guest kitchen offered an array of coffee and teas, as well as sparkling and still water that is on the house! Each morning we were woken up by the delicious smell of Guy’s cooking. Our breakfast was fresh, healthy and tasty! I would highly recommend Craigleith Manor and want to emphasize how safe we felt despite our stay being during Covid 19. Sanitizers were all throughout the house and minimal contact was made. Definitely a must stay place if you are visiting Collingwood!

We highly recommend Craighleith Manor B&B and we would definitely return. We stayed two nights in the Mountain Suite, combining it with the Georgian Hills Vineyards Tasting and Thornbury dining package (highly recommended).

We chose Craigleith Manor because we were impressed with the COVID-19 response they listed on their website. We were not disappointed! The room was clean and spacious, everyone wore their masks throughout the B&B and we never once felt unsafe. Guy, one of the owners, was never too busy to help us with any questions we had. The breakfast was indeed a big deal; we were given a menu every day to customize our breakfast for next morning.

Due to the weather, we were not able to take advantage of the balcony in our room, having breakfast in the backyard, nor the Georgian Trail (accessible through the backyard!), but that is something to look forward to for our next stay. It was so comfortable to return to Craigleith after a day of hiking, from the comfortable lounge chairs/bed and the heated bathroom floors to the many movies and TV shows to snuggle up to. It felt like home away from home.

My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at Craigleith Manor. Our stay was short, 1 night (mainly due to COVID and our reluctance to travel for too long). We specifically chose Craigleith as they only had 3 rooms so our risk of intermingling with too many people was smaller (as it was, only 1 other room was occupied during our stay - so we felt very safe).
We arrived and were greeted warmly by Guy (wearing a full face mask) and promptly given a tour. What a beautiful and well appointed home! The pantry had a large fridge for guests with many items we could help ourselves to during our stay as well as a coffee/tea station for our use.
Our room was magnificent (we chose the Mountain View room) and impeccably clean. A huge window overlooked the gorgeous backyard and we had our own balcony with chairs. The bed was amazingly comfortable and provided an excellent nights rest.
We wanted to enjoy a special anniversary dinner and Guy provided us with a list of their favorite restaurants. The one we selected was superb, so their list was spot on.
To make our stay special, I had Craig (who also owns a flower shop in Collingwood) recreate my wedding bouquet and it was waiting for us in our room. It was gorgeous and provided a very special, sentimental memory that I was able to take home and enjoy for a full week and a half after our stay.
Breakfast in the morning was wonderful. We felt very pampered as we dined al fresco on the back yard patio. Guy is a wonderful chef. We opted for greens to accompany our eggs and the home made dressing was to die for!
All in all, we would LOVE to stay here again (for longer next time!) and highly recommend! Thanks for the memories, Guy and Craig.

Thanks Chicken (LOL) So glad that you had a nice time for your 25th. Thank you for choosing to spend it with us. I do remember those flowers and they were certainly OVER THE TOP beautiful. I am so proud of our team at Collingwood Flowers. So happy that you took them home and enjoyed them for another week (and a half!!). We work very hard to make sure that restaurant list has only the BEST local places on it for our guests. We know that people only have a limited time to spend while in the area and we want you to experience the very best. Thank you so much for the great review. Please come again. Due to the pandemic, we were unable to go on our tropical honeymoon. We still wanted to have a relaxing few days after the wedding and decided to book in Blue Mountain.
When we got to the B&B we were amazed with how clean, organized, and labeled everything was. Both Guy and Craig worked tirelessly to ensure we had a comfortable and safe stay. They put up hands free sanitizers and soaps everywhere and ensured everything was sanitized.
Our room was beautiful and the property is so beautiful and peaceful.
Guy makes the most incredible breakfast and coffee! You will not be disappointed. He also gave us helpful tips on places to go for lunch and dinner or to explore.
The experience was truly so relaxing and enjoyable. We are so excited to go back and cannot recommend this beautiful B&B enough!

We stayed here for 3 nights, and I was SO sad to leave. Guy is an incredible cook, offering different breakfast choices daily (even accommodated a picky eater like myself!), and what a gorgeous view to eat your breakfast as well!
The safety precautions, and cleanliness of this manor is top notch, we felt incredibly comfortable there even during a pandemic.
Guy also knows of all the hidden gems to eat, visit, tour in Collingwood, and is happy to make your stay the best it can be. He makes you feel as though you are at home. You do NOT get this type of luxury in a hotel.
Craigleith Manor changed our minds completely on how we do getaways from now on.
We will definitely be back. Book your stay here, you will not be disappointed!!!

Thanks Jodie & Nathan, It was a lot off fun hosting you both! I am so happy that your 1st B&B stay was a memorable one. We take great care in the experience that all of our guests has. Yes, it's true - you don't get this type of individual attention to detail and luxury in just any hotel. Hey, you weren't that picky an eater! I have seen much more "discerning" eaters than you. It is so funny that you met other guests when you were here that live just a short way from your home! We look forward to yuor next visit. Cheers, Guy, Craig & Rufus (woof, woof)

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a pleasant demeanour and a warm welcome. We were provided with a tour of the home which was beautiful, spacious, and eloquently decorated. The cleanliness of the home leaves no doubt in ones mind that the residence is well kept. Our suite was immaculate as the room instantaneously provided a cozy, comfortable, and home-like feel. The amenities available were perfect, leaving nothing more to be desired. The surrounding land is peaceful which ensures a soundless sleep. The breakfast was freshly prepared by an outstanding chef who knew how to create a delightful and mouthwatering experience. Whether you choose to stay in or go out and return, a relaxing time is sure to be achieved.

The hosts were friendly, knowledgable, and easy to connect with. Their efforts in creating this bed and breakfast ambiance is truly recognized and appreciated. This experience certainly elevates the bar for all forms of accommodation outside of one’s own home.

We would without a doubt recommend Craigleith Manor B&B, as wonderful could not begin to summarize the home, the amenities, and the hosts.

Thank you Guy and Craig!
