Comfortable hotel, great bedding, clean rooms , bathrooms very functional. Fridge, microwave, good wifi and tv. On main floor easy access to parking and car for efficient moving of luggage. With covid great adaption with grab and go breakFast, staff friendly. I would stay again.

My husband and I are on a cross country trip to visit provincial parks ( however we expect to be gone for at least 3 weeks and we have a lot of luggage etc) . We came out of Algonquin Park after dark and made a reservation on line. When we got to the hotel we asked about luggage carts and they don’t have any - so even if we had been given a 1st floor room, we would have had to make several trips. We did not get the first floor & hubby has a bad knee ( nothing on the reservation site made it clear about the no-elevators )and we honestly considered going elsewhere rather than having him try to do the stairs. ( but it was late and I didn’t see a lot of options in the area) I dragged everything upstairs , one piece at a time- & hubby was able to just get to the room. On the plus side, the room was clean, looks fairly newly refurbished and has a sizable bathroom. At this point my husband wanted to just lay on the bed and watch a little tv - their tv system has no guide channel ( but we can pull that up on line if we have to) but there is no card in the room with the channel listings ( I called the clerk & he said they “ use to have them”) We also had a minor issue with the AC - they put very billowy curtains over the AC and it’s vents aren’t adjustable so the air blew straight up into the curtains which left the room hot - we ended up rigging the curtains with weighted objects to keep them in the window and off the A/C . I like a little white noise at night but this air conditioner had one cycle that sounded like a lawn mower in the room so if noise is a problem or concern for you be aware ( it is not for me ). Over all , it may be what the area has to offer , and the room is not bad in size or provisions . We cannot have the stair issue again and if it’s a problem for your party I suggest calling ahead before booking ( it never occurred to us - we don’t expect motels with outdoor hallways to have elevators but I was surprised by this one and will check from here out ) — and frankly, while the rooms were good, the stairwells were not as clean or well maintained - they had an “ ickiness” to them - at least the one at the back did. If you are traveling light and just need a place to lay your head , this place would be fine , if you need a place to be more convenient - a luggage cart, a tv you don’t have to scroll, an ax you don’t have to fight with, ( and I’ll be the first to admit I am spoiled and I booked the hotel with highest rating on the area on purpose) - I would look for something else .…

I stayed here for a work related stay, the check in was simple and quick as it took under 5 minutes at the front desk. The room I had was a Double Queen bed which was comfortable and nice for a good nights sleep. The bathroom was a bit dated but was clean and good for a quick shower before a hard days work. I would consider this property in the future as its close to amities (walking distance).

The room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable, although the first room smelled terrible and asked for a room change. The receptionist changed the room but repeated, told me why you are telling us now, you should say to us when you checked in. ( I checked in and left the room because I was late for my plan and came back later in the evening and noticed it smelled awful ). The second room also smelled bad but less than the first room. I think the air conditioner was the reason and needs cleaning. The young staff in reception and breakfast serving were behaving disrespectfully. It seems to me they had no training and doing it unprofessionally. The breakfast was laughable; the website says hot breakfast, but it was cold, giving up to five unhealthy items; the only healthy item was the hard-boiled eggs, which were out of stock the second day.…

Easy access from Hwy 60, good staff, wifi and tv good. To go breakfast good, rooms good size, beds comfortable, washroom good size and clean. BUT I requested a ground floor but none were left which I understand so be forewarned there is no elevator if u have trouble with stairs or heavy luggage.

The location is perfect, just a little outside the main street, quiet and extremely clean. As a bonus the staff were outstanding, really, they were absolutely great! They did about the best anyone could do during the regulations placed upon them from the government.

We recently rented a room at the Comfort Inn in Huntsville. We had specifically rented a Wheelchair Accessible room for my 90 year old, wheelchair bound father. Unfortunately we discovered that the room did not at all meet the needs of someone in a wheelchair. The room has a bathtub .The roomshould have had a walk -in shower. We stayed five nights and during that time my dad was not able to shower. There was also not enough clearance between the end of the bed and the dresser making it very difficult to maneuver the wheelchair between the two. Putting in a few grab bars and a stool in a bathtub does not make a room wheelchair accessible. We felt that Comfort Inn had taken a regular room, added a few grab bars and called it wheelchair accessible. The staff was as helpful as possible and the property was well kept however until Comfort Inn makes its rooms truly wheelchair accessible we will not be staying at the Comfort Inn in the future.…

AWEFUL STAFF! I called Aug 4th and Sheri helped me with the reservation. She was kind! I didn’t get any confirmation email. So I called next day to see why that was the case. A woman picked up the phone and her being biased towards the call was super obvious from the very beginning. She wasn’t willing to acknowledge the rate I was given the day before she said she can only give me the rates she had that day. There were implications that she didn’t fully trust my word. I told her that she should appreciate as a customer it doesn’t make sense for me to pay more because of her colleague’s mistake. My tone of voice was normal. But she said she is not willing to help me and hung up! When I called again to ask them to send me an email regarding the reservation not confirmed in case I get charges on my credit card, the other guy who picked up wasn’t any better. He said I am sorry for the way you have been treated but we have had enough of you tonight. He refused to send me anything in writing so that I can refer to in case there are charges on my credit card. After all there was a staff member who made a mistake and there could have been another possibility which was me experiencing charges. This is a valid concern and I was not asking for much. After reading some of the reviews and seeing how some people of colour have been treated by racist comments, I have no doubts that my feelings regarding the discrimination was valid. They obviously could not see me while speaking over the phone but I have an accent which could very well been noticed by both the girl and the guy whom I spoke with. Avoid at all possible cost. They really don’t seem to be polite and as people in hospitality business they should do way better than hanging up on customers!!! I have been in North America for 20 years and this was by far my worst experience! I haven’t had anything like this! JUST AWEFUL! I spoke with the manager later and he was able to find a reservation under my last name which was terrible misspelled despite of me spelling every word at the time of the reservation! He was able to find it under the last four digits of my credit card. So after all the staff members whom I had spoke to were wrong, rude and very unprofessional!…

Great location - very easy to find, Canadian Tire gas right beside it, stores, fast food and Bank in walking distance ie. Metro grocery, LCBO, Dollarama, Subway, Tim Hortons , Mcdonalds, BMO and Shoppers Drug. Very clean hotel- inside and outside premises and the hotel room itself. Several BBQ grills around the property. Covid safety protocols in place- wearing masks, sanitizing and social distancing
