We stayed in this newly renovated hotel while attending a wedding. It is an old hotel that has been beautifully restored, keeping its original charm while adding modern fixtures, colours and conveniences. Here's a quick list of pros and cons: Pros -extremely friendly, helpful, eager to please staff -our room was large and airy (though our friends' room was half... More

We loved our two night stay over the Thanksgiving weekend. The renovations to this hotel are beautiful! The attention to detail that has gone into each room and the focus on preserving the buildings unique characteristics is truly impressive. All the staff, from the front desk to housecleaners, were extremely friendly and accommodating. It is also clear the management has... More

We live in the KW region and wanted to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. So, we booked a room at The Walper Hotel and had ourselves a little 'staycation'! Well, from the fabulous new decor- such an amazing renovation job, wonderful staff(love the bow ties at the front desk), warm and cosy rooms, thoughtful card and yummy goodies to congratulate... We stayed here in august for 2 days in between renovations and the staff were all amazing and couldn't do enough for us. The hotels new look is fabulous and the hotel itself couldn't be positioned any better. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I booked our stay at The Walper Hotel for our wedding night. Upon arriving at the hotel, we realized that in the excitement of the evening we had left some important items behind. We were worried that our forgetfulness had ruined our evening, but when we decided to still check in we were greeted with such compassion... More

Stayed at the Walper for 3 nights for business and I have to say that it was really nice. The staff members are amazing, always there to answer questions (you can even ask questions by text!), offer helpful hints and just be pleasant to be around (especially Darnell :-). The room itself was very nice, the decor well done and... More

This property, built in 1893 and closed for the last 18 months reopened on the weekend of our visit. Normally we would not chance a visit to a new property knowing the pitfalls that could occur. We couldn't have been more pleased. While there are certainly details that haven't been completed, all credit to a staff who were sincerely interested... More
