We've stayed at the Comfort Inn a number of times over the years and never have been disappointed. This time, no surprises again. Clean rooms, well maintained, reasonable price on the days we stayed, no problem checking in early. Front desk was helpful and friendly.

The hotel is ok, but getting a bit old and dated. It was clean though, so good enough for me for a basic accommodation. The rooms were fine, complete with mini fridge and microwave. The bed was surprisingly comfortable - thank you Comfort Inn for investing in quality mattresses! The morning breakfast was good, complete with eggs and sausage. The WIFI was very strong - I'm guessing they have fibre to the building. There are picnic tables and BBQs in the back of the hotel if you want to cook your own meals. The staff was quite friendly. Just up the street within a 5-10 minute walk are several restaurants which is convenient. Do note that a lot of contractors stay at this hotel, so you will hear trucks firing up early in the morning as they head out to work - not good if you want to sleep in. But, if you're just looking for a basic accommodation for the night, this place will fit the bill nicely, and seems to be the cheapest option of the chain hotels in town.

I had just given my cc number to book two nights as it was an emergency situation. I was registering for my friend to stay. Prior to the conversation I disclosed to the dog/pet friendly hotel that my guest had one dog and one cat.

Dog AND ant friendly apparently! Went to pick up my dogs food bowl from the carpeted floor and there was an army of ants swarming around the it. When I reported it to front desk upon leaving, he said there was nothing he could do about it

Hotel more like 2 star motel. Rooms dated (not a big deal for me) but the cleanliness wasnt there to make up for it. The in room fridge was from the 80s and was filthy. The woman at front desk and cleaning staff were very friendly. -Back door near parking has no lock on it and anyone could walk in. -The garbage containers at back near parking stunk really bad. -Only 2 floors and bottom floor rooms have patio doors. Everyone was smoking outside their doors below us and even with our windows closed the smoke came into our room. It stunk. Smoke woke me up at 7am wafting up my nose. Cigarette butts everywhere. -After a long day of travelling came back to room in the evening to relax and sleep as we had to get up very early to drive again and there was 40 people having a tailgate party next to parking lot right outside our room!. Yes thats right a tailgate party! Some sports team. They were all drinking, barbequeing, kids screaming and kicking soccer balls by our car in parking lot, being loud. I advised front desk who did nothing. This hotel has two or three old barbeques on other side of parking lot so teams all hang out there and there is nowhere to escape them. Never experienced anything so wierd and disrespectful of other guests in my life. No idea how this is ranked the best place to stay in Midland. I would have slept better in my car in a Walmart parking lot. I basically paid $180 a night to be tortured.

There are no elevators at this property and no pool. It is an older building with sliding glass doors on the main floor to the parking. You can't exit or enter the room from your car parked outside your door, you have to around. It was inconvenient. It was clean but could have been better. There was thick dust on the phone that should not have been there. It was very quiet and the beds were comfy. We didn't try the bagged breakfast, we opted to go out instead. The staff were all friendly.

We were welcomed very warmly when we arrived, and check-in was easy. We were told our room was the top floor, and there was parking and entrance on the side of the hotel. It was pouring rain, so we drove to the "side" of the hotel thinking there would be an entrance half-way along the building, however there was not. The only entrances are the front and back of the hotel! We are Choice Privileges Platinum members, and should have received a welcome gift upon check-in. We were told that because of COVID, they weren't giving them out, however you could PURCHASE small bags of chips and snacks in the lobby!?! The room was clean, and the beds were just OK. They were pillowtop, but not as comfortable as we had hoped. There was a fridge and small microwave as well. Early evening we kept hearing loud banging. Finally we went out to investigate and found piles of sheets outside several rooms. The banging was the doors hitting the flipped safety latches.as the cleaners went in and out of the rooms. The other noise annoyance was we had a tailgate party happening right under our window on both of the nights we spent there, which was super annoying. The front desk staff were great though, and said if it continued after dark they would take care of it. The 2nd night we did have to complain, and staff did tell them to break it up. There was hand sanitizer in the lobby, and also in the breakfast room.. There was no hot breakfast, but they did have cereal, breads, yogurt and fruit. You have to take it back to your room. This hotel, although nothing fancy, is fine for an overnight stay.

They advertise a hot breakfast but, once you actually reserve, there is small print on your reservation email saying that "some features may not be available due to Covid 19." If this had been a week after ever changing government rules I would understand but it has been a ridiculous amount of time since they even offered a hot breakfast -making this a lie. I am heading downstairs now to complain about the freezer/fridge as everything I put in the freezer last night is now melted.

Just what one would expect of a good motel chain. Comfortable, clean room with good Wi-Fi. Sadly, the bath plug was broken and the bath drain partially blocked so the shower water only drained away slowly. Also, the plug in the bathroom sink did not close. These last two maintenance items let the room down. Breakfast the next morning was good and what one would expect.
